Is God so disgusting and irrational?

I can not speak for all other people. I have met non believers who are decent people.

How do you know you are right about God being real? I have tried very hard to make sense of it, and it just does not make any sense. I dont see anything obviously real about it

I'd rather believe that I was created by an intelligent self-existant life-source than some random uncreated-clump of space-dust.
What other options are there?

I was always the one looking for who made the tree, in a family of tree-worshippers.
