:thud:
did i miss something?
i asked you:
what is so noble about chasing something that is indescribable?

you replied with:
It's always noble to seek knowledge for its own sake.

help me out here... :D
I didn't say that knowledge was attainable.

I didn't say that knowledge was attainable.
so what does this mean?

1. acquaintance with facts, truths, or principles, as from study or investigation; general erudition: knowledge of many things.

2. familiarity or conversance, as with a particular subject or branch of learning: A knowledge of accounting was necessary for the job.

3. acquaintance or familiarity gained by sight, experience, or report: a knowledge of human nature.

—Synonyms
1. See information. 4. understanding, discernment, comprehension; erudition, scholarship.

what i highlighted i understand as those things that are attainable...

i'll put it another way
it's not about the destination, it's about the ride...is that what you mean...?
:rainbow1:

edit:
so what do you mean by this?
Knowledge isn't. God is.
meaning knowledge isn't ineffable

I think so... depending on one's definition of God, of course.

I spend my life chasing a God whom I've sworn never to find.

I like that a lot. :D

(If I'm understanding it correctly)
"I looked for God, and I looked for God, and then I found Him, so obviously it was someone else. And so, I kept looking".

Oh for God's sake!

I didn't mean that knowledge itself is unattainable. I meant that that specific knowledge (knowledge of God) is.

Is conversing with you always this difficult?

had you said that in the first place i would have understood you...and up until now you didn't say that...even though you knew i was asking you to :help:
but instead all i got from you were short responses and you had no hand in making yourself clearer...so excuse me :(
