One could say that any dogmatic approach to religion is an illness
. If nobody is being hurt or abused, then one's actions are just a psychological variant in the diversity of human behavor. If one's actions are creating harm or abuse, then their behavior can be considered an "illness". If for no other reason, then it is because they are a threat to the peace and security of the Community of Humankind. Of course one could consider those that harm and abuse others a seprate predatory species of humankind and we are the prey and that it is not an illness . True gay males are not an illness, they are just a psycological variant in the diversity of human behavior. And they mean no harm to anybody. They are inclined to be sensitive, affectionate, and loving, which is a threat to the masculinity of a "normal " human male. And because they show these feminine traits they are therefore to be persecuted just like women are. And all dogmatic religions are dominated by these "normal" human males. So, like women, true gay males are to be persecuted, only in the case of religion, persecuted in the name of God. The question ultimately becomes, "Where does this "illness" actually lie? Does it lie with the gay or does it lie with the dogmatic Christian male?"Please keep in mind guys that we are in Religious Debate

First, the Law is clear: Yahweh instructed us not to engage in homosexual practices or even to joke about it.
Second, it is accurate to call it an illness or a curse, but it is still one that can be overcome
The way parents teach their children, other influences, and genetics can play a big role in causing this illness or curse to be.

Abominable actually means to be infected with something which is contagious - meaning, you can pass that sickness on to your offspring by heredity, or teaching. Science is just now, in this generation, with the use of powerful, electronic microscopes, discovering unseen microbes, that your Bible warns, are created if certain illegal, sexual lusts are given in to and performed. They can crossbreed and mutate inside your body, and your body will start dying. "Dying you will die" due to sickness and disease, to which there are no cures. This does not need to be.

The Hebrew word in Genesis 4:7, which has traditionally been translated as "shalt rule" (KJV) or "rule" (ASV) is from the Hebrew word תמשׁל, according to the Tanach and Strong's says:

Notice, the Hebrew word in the the Tanach or Codex Lenengradis is suffixed with the Hebrew letter ת (tau) indicating this word means....well...
First, I should point out that every Synagogue today has a copy of the Tanach without vowels because the original writings of the Hebrew manuscripts did not have them. Any Hebrew word has, sometimes, a deluge of meanings, and a vowel point was added as interpretation based on somebody's doctrine, or conspiracy.
So, Genesis 4:7 is saying that:

Growing up in the "Garden of Eden," being raised by Adam under the influence of the Law (before Moses wrote it all down), Cain was no stranger to the idea that sin, and the "carnal mind," were very much with him. In one study performed by psychologists, two basketball teams were set against each other. Team A practiced on the court using their usual methods. Team B was only allowed to sit and practice in their minds. After the game, coaches were asked which team showed the most improvement, and the answer was B not A.
Likewise, Yahshua Messiah said, Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. ~ KJV
Yahshua said that thinking about that sin, or practicing it in your mind, has the same, or similar, effect on the health of your mind and body.
Yahweh desires that we all be a part of His family. To do this a person must come into unity with Him through ever means available - mental exercise, reminders on your wall or mirror, 'catch' phrases you use, people you spend your time with or look up to, and how you spend your private time.
We all struggle with out own demons. It is simply a part of being human that "the desire to sin is with you," or me, but like I said, Yahweh gave us the option to choose (Joshua 24:15), commonly referred to as "free moral agency."
If you study the Scriptures, there is evidence of a great war in Heaven. That war lead to Satan and 1/3 of the ruling Malakim (Angels) being exiled from Heaven (also called Yahweh Shammah). As we see in Job Chapter 1, Satan is not banned from ever visiting Heaven, but is allowed to attend 'Court,' for any type of proceeding similar to what you see today. Satan went to Yahweh and made an appeal, stating, in summary, that Job (Yahshub in Hebrew) was only obedient and loving towards Yahweh because of a multitude of blessings. The Scriptural account of His worldly possessions, compared to today, is possibly in the billions of dollars (USD). [I challenge someone to calculate the value of $1 after 5,000 years of inflation. I have not, but I imagine the result is an enormous number]
So, Yahweh granted Satan permission to do anything she wanted to the family and possessions of Job. Job stood strong, and lost everything except His wife who nagged and nagged Him, trying to get Him to forsake Yahweh. In modern language, Job actually called her the 'B' word.
So, Satan went back to Yahweh and appealed again, sating the it just wasn't fair that Yahweh was protecting Job's body, and that if She were allowed to harm Job physically, He would forsake Yahweh. All things are according to the Plan of Yahweh, and this was no different. Satan only has power within the boundaries of what Yahweh allows. There are prophesies of when Yahshua will rule the earth, but until then, Satan has rulership of the earth (she is called the Prince of Tyre and the prince of the power of the air). In Isayah she is called Lucifer, which was translater from the Hebrew word 'Hilel' or הילל which Strong's says means:

In Hebrew tradition, the wife teaches the children in all things. The young girls continue in this instruction and would usually learn a trade such as basket weaving, or some other craft. The young boys, usually around 3 or 4, would leave the instruction of their mother to enter the full-time instruction of their father, also learning a trade, but usually in a more labor intensive craft such as farming, husbandry, metal work, blacksmithing, carpentry, etc.
The account of Genesis 2 and 3 is no different. Hilel was tasked with teaching the women of the Garden, as is indicated in several places including the word "tree" which means "place of worship," in Hebrew (BDB, 1980, page 781), and further indicated by such verses as Deut. 12:2 and 2nd Kings 16:4.

The man taught his son how to be a man - what it means to be a man. Yahweh gave instructions to Moses, a pattern by which all aspects of religious and daily life should follow. Within that pattern was The Man. Yahweh is a man, and Supreme Ruler of the Universe. He instructs us to carry out this patter too, but teaching our sons to be men, and our girls to be women. This means that a young boy should do things that help him feel like a man.

Things are a little more complicated than I am making out that they are, aren't they Shadow Wolf
? I feel compassion for homosexual males that are effeminate because I would have been one if it had not been for my relationship with Christ Jesus. A relationship that started when I was five (I am now sixty-five). Because of my relationship with Christ Jesus I am what you are calling an effeminate heterosexual. And I do not regret having made that sexual preference choice. And to be honest with you I do not like what is considered the normal human male. They are just too mean, pushy, and emotionally crippled. So the thought of spending a life living with and being attached to a normal human male is just "yuck" . And what might be considered interesting is that a significant part of the reason that same sex marriage is being promoted in today's society is because of the effeminate homosexual male's desire to settle down and have a stable relationship with one significant other just like a women does. They want to nest . The masculine type homosexual male, at least generally speaking, is just not interested in that. They are interested in self and what self wants. And like in a heterosexual reality they have to be trapped in order to settle them down. And of course from there it is a constant battle. There are exceptions of course but in those cases one would have to consider the masculine male to be above normal and a lucky catch.Now with that said, the other part of the OP of this topic involves the Christian religion and basically the conflict between dogmatic Christianity and Homosexual behavior. If one is a homosexual, then they are going to Hell
. Humm? Well, Lord Jesus seemed to indicate that it is what it is that is in your "heart" that condems you. And, there is no sex in Heaven. There is in Muslem Paradise, but they go to a different place than we Christians do. But from the Christian stand point sex is of a this world reality and we are all in a state of ignorance. So I feel that if a homosexual (or anybody else for that matter) is not condemed by what is in their heart (selfish lust for whatever and a lack of compassion for other living things), then there is no reason why they can not be a Christian and Lord Jesus be their Lord and Savior whether homosexuality is considered an illness or not.Shadow Wolf, just out of curiosity, why do you consider homosexual behavior not an illness? There is no right or wrong answer to this question, I am just curious.

It just isn't. It's not more an illness than being left handed. There is nothing about it that inherently deteriorates one's quality of life; rather, that tends to come from others. Homosexuals may have been branded with an Otherness, but they are really just regular, normal people.

Not necessarily. I can also read this as a strong suggestion to refrain from heterosexual encounters if you are a lesbian.
I think God is very fond of lesbians. I am not one, but I think that for sure they practice the safest form of sex there is, if they are faithful and never mess around with other men, as Leviticus seems to promote. For, if male gay sex dangers are a curse from God, then lesbian natural safety can be interpreted as a blessing from God,
Which would logically indicate that God is not against homosexuality, in general. He is against male homosexuality, for some reason. If we gauge Gods fondness of sexual inclinations, based on the safety of the sex act, I would even say that He prefers lesbians than heterosexuals.

Okay, this is what I have trouble with the most. First and foremost, half the links you cite come from religious sites with an obvious bias, this is demonstrated in the layman language they use and their desperate attempts to foist STI's onto homosexual people whilst minimizing STI's among heterosexuals. They even fail at being Journalists because their language is so clearly manipulative there's no real room for being objective. The other sites you cite are Scientific and stress that it's not gay people who propagate STI's rather promiscuous sex, whether gay straight or even bi. And even suggest ways to combat STI's, which is not stopping sex altogether. But rather medicine, routine regular health checks, condoms, vaccines and education. (Something oddly missing from the Religious sites, hmm.)
But menotoxins? Are you completely for real, son? Okay the source you cite is from the 1930s and is not based on legitimate research. Rather anecdotes and odd observations mixed with confirmation bias. There was actually no microscopes used in those studies. They gave menstruating women flowers and if they wilted that was evidence of toxicity, apparently. These "studies" have since been thrown out, decades ago, for poor control, methodology problems and I guess being ignorant. (Also there were studies conducted around the same time which pointed to the sweat of men being just as toxic but were "dismissed as outliers" that old confirmation bias thing.) There was another attempt to point towards menstrual blood being toxic, as a toxicity scare took hold in the 80s among menstruating women. But it was soon discovered that chemicals in a certain brand of tampons were the actual cause. Basic knowledge of human Biology debunks the menotoxin nonsense straight off the bat. First of all, that menstrual blood which is oh so toxic lines the walls of the uterus. When a fetus is being developed it literally relies on that same "toxic" blood in order to survive. You are actually saying women's uterus' are toxic to babies!
When a woman is not pregnant that "toxic" blood has to build up in the body for at least 2-4 weeks. She'd be dead if that blood was really as toxic as people claim. But she's not, the body expels the blood, otherwise the uterus would be nothing but blood and reproduction would be quite tricky.

i just received an explanation about how trans-gay therapy is supposed to work in one person's mind:

There is a terrible therapy that is given to gays against their will and its important to talk about it, because it is rumored to be religious workers who advocate it and perpetrate forced chemical conversion. It's called trans-gay therapy. A friend told me that the movie "xxx: state of the union" starring vin diesel was a subtle allegory about gay reparative therapy, especially trans-gay therapy.
Below are pictures from the movie. in the top picture, the xxx tattoo on the back of the neck represents what this friend calls "trans-gay" therapy: the center x marks the injection point into the brain stem, the x's on either side represent the contents of the hypodermic - estrogen. In the bottom picture, the star vin diesel wears a motocycle pants with a black panel in the crotch area symbolizing castration due to estrogen exposure. It is called "trans-gay" therapy because it is supposed to transform a gay man into a transgender man by direct injection of trans hormones into the brain to feminize the brain only without affecting the body. this way he becomes and thinks like a woman, but they are hoping it will change his orientation too. they tell me that sometimes a gay will attend a party and then is knocked out with something like GHB and then he is injected and wakes up without knowing what happened.
The form of estrogen was used in the 1940s for chemical castration and is called Diethylstilbestrol or DES. According to the wikipedia, DES was once given to pregnant women and has a history of causing transgenderism in boys. Because Bruce Jenner has been transitioning to a woman, there has been some speculation about changes to his sexual orientation. It seems that over 60% of men who undergo transition by estrogen have some kind of change in their orientation: either they become bisexual or straight. I am afraid they suffer brain damage too (reduced brain volume, psychosis, lethargy) in addition to becoming like women and they never feel true love any more. That makes me think that there might be too much trade-off, because you're never the man you used to be.

this thread is about cures of any kind. if you really want to be straight and you are gay, then you can try this and see. stephenie robinson did just that and today she, who was a he, is a woman.
i am not advocating any therapy, only giving information that i hear about.

A "cure" would have to get rid of homosexuality 100% completely in an individual. I don't think your example would qualify. It might be better classified as a "treatment".

if you are gay and you become a woman, then you become 100 percent straight - unless you are saying that trans women are not real women.
