Personally, I think IS is doing the world and humanity a huge favor. It is lifting the veil so that we get to see the darker side of Islam on the warpath.
Just a reminder that Islam is not monolithic, so we really shouldn't be blaming all or most Muslims for the atrocities being regularly committed by the more radical elements.
Many British mosques are recruitment centres for ISIS; the mosque leaders and congregations are even having whiprounds to pay their air fares to the mideast.
Needless to say, our pol-correct government and coppers don't have the guts to stop it because mosques are a no-go area..
News item- "Networks of radicals are re-emerging in British mosques and elsewhere to encourage and facilitate Muslims wanting to travel to Syria and Iraq to fight for Islamic State.."

So, you're from Detroit. What's the dealio with all this sharia law crapola going on in Dearborn? Any truth to it? I ran across this link that looks pretty darn scary, but don't know if it's reliable:Imams, like other Muslims, are not all the same either. Some are quite radical, but fortunately most seem not to be. From what I have heard from some Brits is that there are more proportionally radicalized Muslims in the U.K. than across the pond.

CHRISTIANS WIN BIG LAWSUIT AGAINST MUSLIM THUGS IN DEARBORN, MICHIGAN! |
It's like saying US has less polution than China. It sure does right now. And China will argue that US went through the same period so why can't China do it now to evolve itself?
I'm just saying to look at the whole context...
Were #2 as it stands, not good. And we were number #1
But yes the problem needs to be addressed not ignored.
Definitely shouldn't be ignored but please look at the whole picture is what I'm trying to say.
Every religion, state, organization... has a blemish. How did it evolve from the blemish?
Because they are letting the cat out of the bag. Can't have that now, can we?To my knowledge other Muslim leaders from Egypt and other countries are denouncing the ISIS.

I agree, I don't think it represents Muslim as a whole. So suggesting that "ISIS is a distaster for ALL Muslims?" is simply unfair to even ask.
.
There's one thing to just spew out words, but do we know if Egypt is assisting ISIS? What other Muslim organizations do we know is actively supporting (funding, training, assisting) the ISIS?
.
Not really. islam breeds terrorism.
Why is however up for debate.
Its my opinion, it is due too required literalism that amounts to fanaticism.
When people are required to place mythology and faith before reality, going a hair more into terrorism is not so hard. Anything could strike the small step away from the average muslim, like poverty and or hunger.
Your assertions have huge impact here. .
There are many that place "mythology and faith" in great esteem in the US. They're not going to war here.
Now, I'm not saying that's right. I'm just saying that doesn't specifically attribute to Muslims.
