Good thing my relationship is based on love! Whew!Islam is also a religion of submitting your will. Lust contridicts that.
Wait... I'm not Muslim... I don't really care what your religion says.

Let me review this: you're telling Green Gaia what Green Gaia feels? You know better than she?
Tell me what I'm feeling right now, since you think you know me better than I know myself...Response: Yes.
I still don't get it. There are different types of love. Love you feel for your family, romantic love, love of your fellow human beings...
There's the statement. Where's the proof?Response: True. But sex between the same gender is still lust.
Really? Provide a single post of me lying. (I can easily do this for you, as you know.)Response: Likewise.
Fatihah, you hate me. Why?
Response: I never said it did either. However, it addresses and condones the union of man and woman and in relation to the other verses presented, it condemns homosexuality.
Whatever... you don't want to have sex with your brothers, I don't want to have sex with my sisters. The love I feel in the relationship with the love of my life, IS different. I'm sorry you haven't experienced romantic love, yet. Perhaps that's why you cannot fathom that two adults of the same sex could possibly love each in that way and instead you reduce our love to lust. Your inability to comprehend is no fault of mine.Response: I wouldn't call it a different kind of love, but the same love on different levels.
I'm comprehending just fine, thanks.Response: Your inability to comprehend is no fault of mine.
Take your "love" and shove it where the sun don't shine. I'd rather have an honest enemy than a false friend, any day.Response: I don't hate you at all. I care for you dearly. More so than you could ever know.
No, you hate me. I know better than you what you are feeling.Response: I don't hate you at all. I care for you dearly. More so than you could ever know.
Another instance of Fatihah lying? I'm shocked!
Yes, a good deal more. What's your point?Response: You're more than that.
So Fatihah, do you know any lesbian couples personally?
So, on the "homosexuality is a sin" side, we have: religion and bigotry.
On the "no it isn't" side, religion, logic, ethics, and personal experience.
We win.
You never responded to this post, Fatihah.
Holy non sequitur, Batman! What in the world did I say that you interpreted as a claim that anyone's morality were somehow proven?Although I am firmly on the "no it isn't side" I have to say once more that my morality along with anyone elses is unprovable. After I die, I may come face to face with Yahweh who condemns me to eternal suffering for defending homosexuality. Or I may simply rot. Or any number of alternatives. However, as far as "objective" or "provable" morals are concerned, homosexuality is as "right" as genocide and as "wrong" as giving to the needy.
