Let's review this one more time. There is a family named "Jones". In this family are a father named Sam and a son named Joe. Sam and Joe a two separate "persons" but both are "Jones." There is another family named "God." In this family are a father and a son. The father and son are two separate "persons" but both are "God". This should be so easy for people to see but Satan has clouded so many minds that they ignore this simple idea. The father and son are two different "beings" but both together make up God just like Sam and Joe are two different beings that make up "Jones." Most people think of the Father as God but he is only one part of God. There is still only one God just like there is one Jones family.

But there is no reason to separate the nature of G-d. More than once you have allusion to the fact that Jesu is one with the father, etc. It's just how literally one takes their Scripture.

The reality is that if one follows Xian belief, they believe that Jesus is G-d. Unless they revise their texts, use a blackout marker on their bibles, etc. There is no way around it. If one doesn't like the theology, then it isn't the religion for them, imo. There have been numerous 'efforts', to try ro change the fact that Jesus is considered G-d in Xian belief, but they ultimately lead to nowhere. They lead to a hodge-podge theology that doesn't make sense.

It doesn't say Jesus is God anywhere in the Bible. Is that not evidence enough??

Good analogy. It is clouded because in the Jone's case, the father and the son share names and maybe purpose but their friends know who is the father and who is the son. It isnt umbiguous. They are botb humans but they are not each other.

In "trinitarian view" there is no seperation between persons. God is not a "last name" but a trait that both the father and son share. Unfortunately, because they "share" the same traits christians interpret that to mean they are one and the same. They are not.

Instead, just like the Jones, they share the same traits and purpose but one is Spirit and the other human. What I do t understand is why cant Jesus be a perfect human? If God can do anything, why deny God the power to make Jesus perfect and acknowledge Christ's devotion to His Father as Christians should do the same. Christ isnt the Father.

Satan has nothing to do with it. If I put Satan in this, heaven forbid, it would be trinitarians who would have clouded thoughts. Every abrahamic faith knows God is not a human and cannot be separated as such. Trinitarians are the only ones out of all that holds that idea. The scriptures are not umbiguous in saying Christ is not God. Its plain as day.

Maybe trinitarians find it hard to imagine a perfect human die for them? Why question their God and turn scripture because Christ speaks for His Father?

Anyway, recycled debate. One day I will understand the other side.

I am not a member or adherent of many religions, does this mean that I try to configure their texts, hance belief, to fit my personal preference? If one studies this issue at all, one realizes that Xian belief has a Godhead that is one deity. It's part of the theology because it's a monotheistic religion. having two or more deity or worship forms is a no go. Xianity does not ''work'' without it's monotheistic position, and the trinity doctrine explains the position to an extent, albeit sometimes in a confusing manner, as Trinitarians themselves may have their opinion, or the church definition/s/ may be complicated. The people who formulated the trinity doctrine knew that they were describing one deity, with more than one form. That's all there is to it. When the theology get's goofed into something else, well meaning or not, it becomes a type of polytheism, and doesn't match the Scripture. That is why people have been revising the texts in whatever manner they can for a long time now. It's a personal belief thing, not a religious adherence or textual actuality issue. Either way, i'm out of the debate.

The Trinity concept is not in the Bible, Jesus is God is not in the Bible, who cares what Christians believe if its not in the Bible, they're probably making it up.

"It doesn'y say Jesus is God in the Bible." Back to the family idea. Sam Jones and Joe Jones are father and son. Therefore both are Jones. If I say Joe is the son of Sam Jones, then you know Joe is a Jones even if I do not say Joe is a Jones. If Jesus is the son of the father God then Jesus is God even if I do not say it. Everyone who is the son of Mr Jones is a Jones. Everyone who is the son of God is God.

It seems you are having fun, and that is fine. But I don't think everyone is going to believe that "God" is a last name like "Jones" is. Some people might think this is a good analogy. But others are likely to think that this analogy is just complete garbage.
