Is the Bible too Contradictory for All of it to be True?

, and when you dismiss something in the Bible as not being true, I will show you why it is true.
Will you please show me that it is true Jesus commanded someone to make disciples. Who was the command directed to? According to what the Bible really says, who is supposed to make them and who are they supposed to make? What if the people who are supposed to make disciples don't succeed in making even one?

That you know how they can't be made seems to suggest you know how they can be made.

Care to share?

It's all in any good translation of the Bible. A disciple is basically a learner. To know the truth, one needs a Bible translated from the mss, not one edited by men who do not know the language.

The how do you find the truth about God? Make it up your self?
I am as certain as the rain that YOU trust in words that someone else made up. I do not do that. When I have a question, I look up in a concordance. You should use a concordance and definitely please stop trusting in the people who you believe I am like.

THEY changed it. I try to reason that it should be changed back. Impossible?

We agree! Did you look up Matthew 28:19 for the oldest version of it?

Just remember that the people who SAID (they are DEAD) what Matthew 28:19 means needed bodies and money to build and to buy stuff. OK?

Please answer the question.

If, like you say, Matthew 28:19 really originally said that to disciple means to make disciples, WHO was it addressed to? Me? You? Only the Apostles?

Everybody?

Please answer the question.

You can't glean truth from the tares.
I trust that what you say here is true.

Now, please show me that Matthew 28:19 says that to disciple means to make disciples.
Do not show me what men have said it means. Show me what GOD has said it means.

Please.

Mt 28:19-20. Notice v20 includes teaching.

Christians are to make disciples by teaching them the truth. Teh teaching does snot have to be in the fcofrmal sense, like a Sunday school teacher or the pastor. We teach by our conduct being in accordance with what the Bible teaches---Be honest, compassionate, forgiving, loving our neighbor as our self, etc. Do what Jesus did.

What if the people who are supposed to make disciples don't succeed in making even one?

Making a disciple is not our responsibility. We plant the seeds and in one parable of the sower, the seeds are the children of the kingdom; and someone waters them(water also symbolizes God's word(Eph 5:26)

God's responsibility is to cause them to grow(I Cor 3:6-7)

OMG. You are saying it is not a disciples job to obey Christ' command to MAKE disciples.

YOU are teaching against God's Word.

And I am telling you the JW Bible is not accurate.
Yes, thank you. The JW Bible is changed very, very little from YOUR Bible. I am saying that the BIBLE they used is not accurate.

I am beginning to believe that you are a machine.

Concordances do not tell you the truth. They just show you where to look and it is ALWAYS to the Bible. The JW's are the ones changed the Bible.

I know what JW's are. They are a legalistic religion that lays guilt on it members for not being perfect. The teach that unless you are 100% obedient, you are going to hell. They teach you can lose your salvation and they certainly do not love their neighbor as them selves. The have neglected the grace of God and they will tell you you can't know if you have eternal life, but the Bible says we can know we do---I Jn 5:13.

See this one?

American King James Version
Go you therefore, and teach all nations

Is it not changed?

I am not going to argue that the original says, "[MY] (Jesus Christ) having gone, [YOU] DISCIPLE (a verb) all nations.......

I assume that you know he said this after he died? Am I wrong?

When someone dies other people think he or she is gone. Right?

A disciple was someone in the nation of Israel who was taught by a (live) teacher.
He seemed to have died, but he was still talking to them.
Oh! He could still teach them. THAT is what he was saying.

Maybe someone took out the "keep on being my disciples".

Nowhere ever, did Jesus promise that he would be replaced by a BOOK.

Yes, thank you. The JW Bible is changed very, very little from YOUR Bible. I am saying that the BIBLE they used is not accurate.

The "very little" is very important. I am glad you recognize their Bible is not accurate.

I am beginning to believe that you are a machine.

I might be like that machine at carnival, with the fortune teller in it.

Put in your nickle and I will give you a verse from the Bible that will be as appropriate and as true as I know how.
