the end of all religions comes from Understanding.

as when the truth of how life exists and what makes a person comprehend how life exists in true form; then the religions will become historical account, just the same as Ptolemy or Socrates.

It is the ignorance of faith that incorporates complacent beliefs in magic and omnipotence and reality shares to every human alive; to comprehend the trick, then the magic is eliminated

Is English not your first language?

I truly don't believe Papillion is "yelling".

The font is a lovely one,
and the overall "tone" does not imply screaming to me at all.

I believe it is just a personally stylized type face.

I rather like it actually.

Well, pappy, I can teach you, but I'd have to charge.

John.11:[26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Mat.10:[23] When they persecute you in one town, flee to another. Amen, I say to you, you will not finish the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

JESUS IS GONE AND NEVER CAME BACK AS THE SON OF MAN, HIS APOSTLES DIED BELIEVING HE WOULD AND THEY TOO LIVE NO-MORE, JESUS LIED BECAUSE ALL CHRISTIANS HAVE DIED BELIEVING IN JESUS WHO SAID YOU WOULDN'T DIE IF YOU DID, "THIS IS THE END OF CHRISTIANTY!"

What does "the son of man comes" mean? What event is Jesus referring to? Many people believe that it means his return in glory to judge the living and the dead. But of course, that hasn't happened. But what if it means something else? I leave it for homework figuring out what it might be (hint: Read Daniel).

The death Jesus was talking about was the second death not the physical death. The Second death, is when God the Father judges and punishes the people who Jesus finds disobedient.

Thanks for touching on the first of these, JM. I only addressed the second.

Good Evening
This looks like a place to add my 2 cents. Christianity along with other faiths must evolve. As the world evolves so must all else. Nothing ever really stays as it is. I have been away from religion/faith for so long and now as I look back to finding it once more, I see a far different approach than it was years ago. In my days growing up one word approach with a somber intent , now things are much more open.

Blessings

funny how many go back and quote old books to establish their opinion but you...

that 2cents is worth a billion bucks as integrity is simply something most could never even buy :angel2:

Way to go

YOU AND MANY BEFORE YOU KEPT HANGING-ON TO A LIE AND 2000 YEARS FROM NOW THAT SCRIPTURE WILL NOT CHANGE, IT WILL READ THE WAY IT WAS WRITTEN 2000 YEARS AGO AND A NEW BORN CHRISTIAN BECAUSE YOU WILL BE DEAD, WILL SAY " But what if it means something else?"

HERE I GOT YOU A MORE SIMPLE VERSION; [26] and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" I DON'T BECAUSE I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY CHRISTIANS OF 200 YRS AGO STILL WALKING AROUND LET ALONE 2000 YRS AGO, ALL DIE, THEREFORE, IMO ALL LIES. BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK, I'M REALLY INTERESTED IN KNOWING WHAT YOU THINK, ITS A DISCUSSION BOARD.

EVOLVE? HOW, IF ITS TRUE THEN WHAT CAN ANYBODY CHANGE, BUT THERE IS TRUTH IN THE BIBLE, MOST OF IT IS DARK AND I KNOW ALL OF IT, BUT WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE THE VERSE John.11:26 MEANS SIMON CROSS?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, WILL YOU CUT IT OUT WITH THAT BANNER FOLLOWING ME ON EVERY THREAD AS THOUGH I WERE A CULT, I'M ONE GUY, STOP FOLLOWING LIKE I'M YOUR LEADER, INVOLVE YOURSELF IN THE DISCUSSION AND HELP ALL US ELEVATE OURSELVES HIGHER IN TRUTH, OR HAVE WE BECOME AFRAID OF TRUTH, OF CHALLENGING OUR BELIEFS FOR THE FEAR THAT THEY MAY BE WRONG.:)
