No. I think I've used it twice in the couple years I've had it.
There's basically a chat room type thing(technical term), and you communicate via typing. You can PM members, but you don't have to.
I'm unsure if you need an account first...

Yes The image above - when I click it just adds the text saying please enter a valid invite link or invite code.
It could be the invite code is expired then.
That's probably what's going on. In that case you're going to have to get a new one from @Rival.
