Is the Intelligent Designer Christian or Muslim?

The two main groups I tend to notice that lean towards an intelligent designer are Christians and Muslims. So my question is quite simple. Is the Intelligent Designer Jehovah, or Allah? And what scientific basis do these "scientists" use when determining which is the actual Intelligent Designer?

ID proponents all agree there is an intelligent designer. Does this intelligent designer resemble how the Bible describes him, the Qur'an describes him, or something different.

The question "who is the true God" will not be settled by scientists. I believe the true God will settle that question in the near future, when he brings judgment upon all false religions. (Revelation 17)

So, keeping in mind the ID is suppose a scientific alternative to evolution. ID proponents can tell us that there is an intelligent designer, but cannot tell us anything about this designer, including that the designer may be, in fact, Allah, and not Jehovah. Is this correct?

Mm, I don't understand why it's so difficult to find a ID advocate when you are actually looking for one.

They don't have to answer any questions. Just "believe" brother that's all you need to do. No knowledge needed !!!

If there were an intelligent designer, doesn't the absence of intelligence in christian or muslim ideology preclude the designer being either one? If there were an 'intelligent' designer, shouldn't he be smarter than the ants and fleas that worship him? Just saying!

It's possible. But I'm curious as to why the majority of ID advocates tend to be Christian or Muslim, and how they reconcile their scientific disagreements.

None of them, for even if there is a designer, I would hardly call Him intelligent.

I mean, men with nipples? Where did He get this idea?

  1. I'm sure that many men have wished they could, especially when they see the closeness that develops between a nursing mother and her infant. Yes, in theory, men can breastfeed. Male breasts have milkducts, and some mammary tissue. They also have oxytocin and prolactin, the hormones responsible for milk production.

That would put a a whole new spin on male gay couples raising a child, wouldn't it?
Maybe that was the design reason, who can say?

Yes, it might. I suspect that milk production occurs in some men who are desperately needing to feed an infant. It might not flow just because a man wants it to.

Aren't they the same but in different names? I mean, who's the supposedly crucified savior, Jesus or Eisa (the Arabic name of Jesus)? :D

Well, they must differ in some aspect, otherwise one wouldn't have sent an additional prophet than the other, who holds a different system of rules than the God given by Christians. I'm not sure what the difference is. I'm hoping some of the ID proponents could enlighten us to the issue. Certainly, if the existence of God is a matter of scientific endeavor, than being able to determine who and what that God is, and what it is that God wants, would be able to be determined and supported with empirical evidence.
