Is the universe conscious of itself...

The cosmos isn't self aware, it is just what it is, there is no self, the concept of self is what we have made, this is because of our own self awareness that we are here, we can ask the question why we are here. We are here because we arised from the pure Source or Consciousness, but Consciousness isn't conscious of the so called self, again its not a self, that is our illusion.

Atheistically
Etymologically speaking, EL or AL means "Prince" or "Lord".

.

El was also a Mesopotamian deity and then later El was also the father deity in Canaanite and Israelite mythology. Egyptians wrote Is ra EL for a semi nomadic people before it was a nation. Probably because El was the primary deity of these nomads.

We know later El and Yahweh his son was fused in theology and Yahweh ended up El's wife Asherah, but hey if he wants to use informal names like "almighy!" let him :D

I'm listening to "Supermassive Black Hole" right now. It's a little unnerving.

Do you have anything to reply with that is not Pseudoscience or pseudohistory?

Your replies seem to be all rhetorical in nature, with no substance. Out of desperation due to not being able to substantiate anything
Just following your examples.

If the universe were conscious, than the universe would necessarily be ignorant of the components of the system whence this consciousness emerged. The "universe" wouldn't be conscious of its "brains'" parts/"neurons". However, the components of the universe consist of everything that exists. For the universe to be conscious, to have self-awareness, it can't be conscious of the components that allow it to be conscious any more than we can be conscious of our neurons. But nothing else exists for the universe to be conscious of.
It's like a brain being conscious in vacuum. How can it be conscious (and of what) when all that exists is that which would make it conscious if there were anything to be conscious of?

Components of the system are from our (localised) fragmented perspective. From the perspective of the non-local whole, there can be two kinds of views. The whole can chose to see externally the forms as undulations of itself. Or the whole can chose to introvert and relish the homogeneity.

Of course, I am ascribing a will to the whole. In any case, this whole that has the free choice of enjoying the multi form or the non dual peace is not the universe of our fragmented vision anymore.

It seems to me that certain things are required for self-awareness -and certain things require self-awareness.

If the universe (or all that is -perhaps beyond what we call the physical universe) is conscious of itself, it must be and have been configured to be so.

It would be both environment and inhabitant -creator and created -until it created other selves.

Something I've been thinking about lately
Are we just a product of the universe becoming conscious of itself?

And something I have been thinking about lately. Isn't the universe a product of observer effect?
