All I wanted to know in the first place is what you had in mind when you said, "You need a lot more for it to be a religion."

My question was: Like what?

You made a factual sounding statement, which you didn't qualify as being your opinion (and which apparently is a reportable offense here according to some), and I'd like to know what you think she needs a lot more of for her beliefs to be a religion. So far, you haven't said.

It's my belief that she already has her own religion.

Great points everyone. However, the ones I've listed are only examples...not my real ideas. Also, I am NOT a follower of Jesus. I do not believe in him. However, some things mentioned in the bible are agreeable to an extent. That does not mean I believe nor follow this Jesus guy.

My point is, if someone was to walk up to you and ask you "what is your religion" and you answer with "one I've made up", is that necessarily correct? In a sense, it may cause unnecessary arguments. I was just wondering how something like this may work if someone did create their own...religion? However, every time I think about "creative religion", Charles Manson comes to mind. However, he convinced his followers that he WAS God.

After all, this is just a curious topic... not one that I'm actually considering. Thanks for the replies everyone!

You could've just asked in the first place instead of making stupid passive aggressive attacks on my religion. I know you hate Catholicism and you have something against me. So you can buzz off.

Just say you have your own beliefs. A lot of people do. Probably not best to say you've made it up since that sounds strange.

That would sound strange....I'll admit that. But what if someone was extremely devoted to whatever they made up and felt the need to tell someone they made it up? (the things I randomly think about...)

Well, I guess it's okay if it's someone you know and who would understand. I wouldn't say it to just anyone, though.

And when someone asks, "Like what?," you feel you can violate the same rules you threatened me with, is that right?

"H3ather" would work I think. You have "heathen", "Paganism". So maybe "H3atherism". There are hundreds already, people won't notice 1 extra.
