Atoms have a "beat" which functions like a time signature of the physical universe, but knowing the only constant of reality is change, how we percieve time is wholly illusory. Being beyond the active sense-range of human beings (we can't hear atomic beats), our perceptions of change creates time as a force or impression upon the psyche. But it (time) has no intrinsic value @ all.
