It's strictly a ploy by the Trump administration as the Obama warning only applied to traveling to those countries.

Trump is smart enough to know you don't make moves on the defensive, and resisted being the KKK puppet on a string But the media was getting too much mileage out of it, so Trump finally had to budge.
ISIS openly announced they intended, intend, and HAVE used the "refugee" situation created by Hillary, Obama and Islamic terrorists as a means to get terrorists into Europe and now the Americas. There is no evidence ISIS supports the "Muslim ban" for propaganda, the "Muslim ban" which is actually fake news, there is no Muslim ban but a 90 day halt on refugees from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen to allow a vetting process to be implemented that can greatly improve protecting Americans from such attempts by ISIS and other terrorists who have been entering Europe and now the US as "refugees".
The actual pause is expected to last two to three weeks but expires in 90 days and is specific to these seven countries, not any religion. Of course even this will have better, but in no way perfect, solutions to the dangers imposed by violent Islamic extremists, including those from other nations who travel to these seven countries which host terrorist training camps. The 120 days halt is for Syrian "refugees".
This specific list of seven was not based on the Trump administration data, it was the seven countries determined by the previous Obama administration as the primary jihadist centers that pose a national security threat to the United States.
I will not patron Starbucks after the Alt-Left CEO announced plans to displace thousands of Americans and American jobs with "Muslim refugees" from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen - all terrorist hotbeds and destinations of Islamic extremists traveling to these destinations for terrorist training.
The Alt-Left is clearly participating in their ongoing unholy alliance with Islamic terrorists to promote fake news and propaganda that further enables terrorism because they ally with anyone including domestic and foreign terrorists who may help overthrow Western republics and governments. Their hate of Trump for example is inclusive of left wing propagandizing for terrorists.
Even greater losses are coming for the left wing and the Democrats. One day after the orchestrated protests in support of allowing unvetted "refugees" into the US many of which want to displace the US Constitution with Sharia Law and to convert and recruit locals to jihadism and which some are terrorists intent on attacks, we have yet another likely Muslim terrorist attack on a mosque in Canada though the full story is still developing. But radical Muslims killing and attacking less radical mosques and Muslims occurs on almost a daily basis in the seven countries mentioned and is practically part of the culture of most of those nations.

No what I put forward is nothing more that looking at what ISIS has put forth in their statement in a different light. All I said is if one looks at this statement in a different way one might think that since their ISIS, media arm is very very good at what they do might this be just reverse physiology . So, looking at it this media release as reverse physiology one might say they are attempting to bring so much negative response to the EO that it will be changed. In other words, if the EO is no longer in effect they can continue integrating their jihadist into the immigration/refugee flow.
I don't go for the idea that these EO's breed more terrorist than the same idea applied to Gitmo.

Presuming Obama wasn't anti-Muslim, it isn't reasonable to automatically

True, for instance, ISIL kills a lot more muslims than christians. But given track records and history with these things, it's a higher than likely chance the person is Islamophobic. And muslims typically aren't islamophobic.
He lost the popular vote and his approval ratings are in the ground by the center of the Earth. Stop lying.
He's ok by me and I don't recall being asked by the media.

The problem with that is that ISIS hates the refugees more than anyone. After all, these are people refusing to live under their rules. They see them as traitors. So they have a vested interest in us not taking these people in. They want them to be miserable.
Trump made his bed when he talked about banning muslims during the campaign. For him to then do this within the first week of his campaign... what else are people supposed to call it?
I get that. But Trump cannot complain that people jump to conclusions about his ties to countries he has an interest in since he refused to separate himself from his holdings. He made his bed.
I disagree with everything there. No sense going into detail when you are clearly raving.
