Islam, how much do you really know about it?

dear riverwolf you also mentioned mutations before right.

that is a 100% failure chance of ever happening. the "mutations" that you speak of can never happe by chance. scientists have tried many experiments and they all lead to failure. they simply disslocated an arm or an ear (to appear in another part of the body) but it has never been successfull.

I found it to be a very good point, and it took me a few minutes to come up with a possible explanation off the top of my head. Actual scientists should be able to give their real theories based on actual studies.

Water creatures don't have gravity? It seems to be cutting and pasting from some random anti evolution website. IMHO.

Random insinuation that entire species have to change in 5 mins or the theory is impossible?

I did, in honesty, considering refuting it in detail but it just struck me as so ridiculous to be what someone would conclude after any amount of even casual research...

So six fingered men and women don't exist? Or do they have less toes... ahhh... That is the question....

i'msure you have also heard about the three critical poits of the ape to human theory.

a evolutionists found a tooth, in the 70's i think. and only by that tooth he managed to draw the half man half monkey to whom that tooth belonged, he also knew what his family looked like by that tooth only. some years latter an volutionist was harshly criticised for dissagreeing with the drawings, then some years after that argument it turned out that the tooth belonged to an extinct pig species in the US, so by this i am saying that the evolutions is completely made up just as that mans body, family and environment was made up by looking at one tooth, imagine if they had found 2, they could have constructed the whole city, or the whoe tribe. look this is done deliberately to fool people. most people beleive everything that is written by scientists, even though it is false and missleading. science is based on faith not evidence, the most important words to a scientist are "Have Faith" so how can you say that it is based on evidence, when clearly to draw that man, a person with a great imagination was required nd not with evidence.

i have to agree with you, it is a very litle research. a book written by a muslim scientist. "the evolution deceit" by harun yahya, go and research it if you wish, you will see what i am talking about.

...You don't know what a mutation is, don't you? From what I understand of what a mutation is, it CANNOT be simulated in a laboratory.

Besides, have you ever wondered why people near the equator have dark skin and people nearer to the poles have light skin?

And you think he purposely formulated a very convincing theory, which future scientists have found even more evidence for, for no other purpose than to have a little laugh? You think all scientists purposefully lie just to make mischief?

You say that you don't allow scientists to have authority over you when it comes to important questions. However, when I express my general thoughts on the subject in disagreement with it, you say I am ignoring science. Don't I have the same ability to disregard scientific authority when it comes to important questions?
There is a difference between "authority by people" and rational thought.
I never said that you shouldnt allow scientists to have authority over you.
I said that i don't take anything for granted just because someone said it. In other words .. you shouldnt take any statement made by anyone (not only scientists) for granted just because he or she made it.

What should be considered is the CONTENT of the statement, not the person.

In short: For me it doesn't matter if Einstein said e=mc^2 or if it is some burglar in a ghetto in tansania. What is to be considered is the statement itself.

So when we speak about evolution or creationism you should look at the scientific evidence and evaluate that and not speak about someone who claims this or that or a scripture that without evidence supposedly says something else.

Frankly I see no other theory besides evolution at the moment that matches the evidence or that explains the process at all. If you have one you are welcome to tell me about it.

I really dont know whether to laugh or cry?
I'm totally with you on that one!! I guess what seems so obvious to us is just too foreign to those who believe in the infallibility of their religion. I guess they can believe what they want to. It's not going to change the way it is. What I find amazing is that they say all science has to be based on faith. What the heck! Isn't that what we do with religion not science???:slap:

yes i do. they created a whole environmet of a ape like human on a blind beleif and then afterwards the tooth turned out to that of an extinct pig.

I think a less biased question is: how are we here?

Allah created us, that the thing that scientists are hidding, they want to hide the information that leades to Allah, the creator of all, they say that everything came by chance, and if it did, then what sort of a chance do you see in a huose being built by itself, and a human structure is much more complicated than a house.

If every one is born Muslim, then why do we 'change'?
is every one born Muslim?

people change because of the sorrounding that they live in. someone is born into a christian family, then he will grow up with that faith but then once they start understanding things, ie. at teenage years, or even older, they have a mind of their own to decide which is best. research is the best word and books.

But, the question is: can you prove that they are born Muslim?
