Israel-Gaza : Human Shields are Human Shields!

The signature characteristic of the Netanyahu/Smotrich/Ben-Gviir regime is it's truly wretched and xenophobic disregard for human life.
It's a shame they don't realize just how badly history is going to look at them, in addition to feeding fuel to anti-semitism by doing something that should stopped centuries ago and left as a relic of brutal warfare in past ages. We didn't understand trauma then, we didn't understand the importance of hearing others out, we didn't know the psychology of humans well enough to understand brutal oppression breeds resentment and violence and can only ever achieve that. The Romans didn't even have the mountains of history we do today to look back and understand this better than they could have.
But they're doing it anyways. Other than the run of mill answers of ultra far Right nationalism, I don't think history will be able to produce a good answer for it. History lessons may even include discussions asking why Netanyahu would not talk with Hamas or work with the Palestinians and work for peace and comparing and contrasting it to how 25 years earlier Tony Blair talked with the IRA and signed the Good Friday Agreement and let Northern Ireland vote on their future.

Just out of curiosity, would you characterize Putin against Ukraine of Bush against Syria as "genocidal," or is it a term you reserve for Jews for effect?
Do you believe that "genocide" can only
be used against non-Jewish regimes?
Israel has been trying to negotiate deporting
all Palestinians to Africa, has destroyed their
homes in Gaza, has allowed settlers to kill &
rob Palestinians, is starving Palestinians, &
seeks to occupy Gaza as its own.
Yeah...it's genocide.
Your whataboutism that genocide exists
elsewhere fails to impress me.

I have to correct you there.

Wikipedia > King David Hotel Bombing : Warnings

Since the bombing, much controversy has ensued over the issues of when warnings were sent and how the British authorities responded. Irgun representatives have always stated that the warning was given well in advance of the explosion so that adequate time was available to evacuate the hotel. Menachem Begin, for example, wrote that the telephone message was delivered 25–27 minutes before the explosion.[18] It is often stated that the British authorities have always denied that a warning was sent. However, what the British Government said, five months after the bombing, once the subsequent inquest and all the inquiries had been completed, was not that no warning had been sent, but that no such warning had been received by anyone at the Secretariat "in an official position with any power to take action."[10] Begin directly accused Chief Secretary of the Palestine Mandate, John Shaw, of ignoring the warning. Shaw strongly denied having received it.[19] (see Sir John Shaw controversy)
American author Thurston Clarke's analysis of the bombing gave timings for calls and for the explosion, which he said took place at 12:37. He stated that as part of the Irgun plan, a sixteen-year-old recruit, Adina Hay (alias Tehia), was to make three warning calls before the attack. At 12:22 the first call was made, in both Hebrew and English, to a telephone operator on the hotel's switchboard (the Secretariat and the military each had their own, separate, telephone exchanges). It was ignored.[8] At 12:27, the second warning call was made to the French Consulate adjacent to the hotel to the north-east. This second call was taken seriously, and staff went through the building opening windows and closing curtains to lessen the impact of the blast. At 12:31 a third and final warning call to the Palestine Post newspaper was made. The telephone operator called the Palestine Police CID to report the message. She then called the hotel switchboard. The hotel operator reported the threat to one of the hotel managers. This warning resulted in the discovery of the milk cans in the basement, but by then it was too late.[8]
Begin claimed in his memoirs that the British had deliberately not evacuated, thereby creating a possible opportunity to vilify the Jewish militant groups.[20]

But thanks for sharing.

I was aware of that fact but even if this was true then they are still responsible . It wasn’t the first time they expressed their Zionist ideology to create a Jewish state with every means necessary,

Yes and she still strapped explosives and blew herself up. A practice that started with the militant Palestinians right from the start since the British relinquished the territories.
Do you understand she did it because IDF killed her grandson and severely wounded another?

One reason for media's inadequate coverage of
carnage & destruction in Gaza is that Israel
prohibits journalists form covering it.
This allows them to dismiss any reports they
dislike.
"God's Chosen People", eh. What a joke.

Israel has far far more culpability than does Hamas.
70+ years of murder, theft, torture, apartheid, &
oppression by Israel created this conflict.
Israel has the overwhelming military advantage,
which is mis-uses. It must end the genocide,
& begin offering justice.
No, I don’t think Israel has far more culpability at all. It doesn’t matter or work when Israel offers justice or peace because Hamas relentlessly continues to attack and refuses such overtures. They don’t want peace with Israel or for the Palestinian people; never have. The goal is the destruction of Israel and the Jews…period.

Here is an old article demonstrating that the goal of destroying Israel never changes…

“The issues at stake in this long-standing conflict between Arabs – Palestinian and otherwise – and Israel are extraordinarily large and complex. Recent news media headlines capture some of the absurdities: "Hamas says accord reached, but won't stop rocket attacks" and "Israel and Hamas agreed to end all hostilities, but unclear how enforced."

Israel has the right and responsibility – after seven years and over 11,000 missile attacks from Gaza before this most recent barrage – to do what it takes to stop the horrific attacks against its people. At the same time, we all grieve for the Palestinian people and pray earnestly that they will be able soon to find and follow leaders who truly protect the lives of the Palestinian people, and their future.

In such an on-going conflict, it is much too easy for people to look for moral equivalency – to want to assume that the issues on both sides are too ancient, too continuous, too common and too complex for clear moral contrast. Perhaps it hurts too much to take the full measure of real malignant evil in our contemporary world. But the presumption of moral equivalence would be foolish moral numbness (or dumbness?) on anyone's part.”

And Israel did not steal the land…

“Instead, they purchased land. Acquiring property dunam by dunam, farm by farm, house by house, lay at the heart of the Zionist enterprise until 1948. The Jewish National Fund, founded in 1901 to buy land in Palestine "to assist in the foundation of a new community of free Jews engaged in active and peaceable industry," was the key institution – and not the Haganah, the clandestine defense organization founded in 1920.

Zionists also focused on the rehabilitation of what was barren and considered unusable. They not only made the desert bloom but drained swamps, cleared water channels, reclaimed wasteland, forested bare hills, cleared rocks, and removed salt from the soil. Jewish reclamation and sanitation work precipitously reduced the number of disease-related deaths.”

“This history contradicts the Palestinian accountthat "Zionist gangs stole Palestine and expelled its people" which led to a catastrophe "unprecedented in history" (according to a PA 12th-grade textbook) or that Zionists "plundered the Palestinian land and national interests, and established their state upon the ruins of the Palestinian Arab people" (writes a columnist in the PA's daily). International organizations, newspaper editorials, and faculty petitions reiterate this falsehood worldwide.

Israelis should hold their heads high and point out that the building of their country was based on the least violent and most civilized movement of any people in history. Gangs did not steal Palestine; merchants purchased Israel.”

You must read very sanitized versions of Zionist history.

That's the standard Zionist line.
You should consider why Hamas exists, & acts as it does.
Israelis should hold their heads high and point out that the building of their country was based on the least violent and most civilized movement of any people in history. Gangs did not steal Palestine; merchants purchased Israel.”
They do have a very high opinion of themselves.
And a very low one about others, especially Arabs.
How interesting....a Jew spouts the
propaganda of The Jewish State.

Those who were killed & driven from their
land would disagree. Settlers still steal their
land, all with Israeli government approval.

I advise dropping the fervent Christian &
Jewish perspectives. Consider history from
the Arab/Palestinian point of view.

The extreme Arab/Palestinian point of view is that according to Islamic teachings Jews must be destroyed and a Jewish nation cannot be allowed to exist in the region. That is why Hamas exists.
