Well in my view preventing defensive weapons enables offensive weapons, surely we are both agreed that it is the offensive weapons that are "evil" correct?

Well my understanding is that the iron dome shoots down offensive missiles so without it offensive missiles are able to reach their targets more easily. Is this (the removal of the iron dome defense) not a form of enabling?
It could be seen that way.
I see using Iron Dome as a bargaining chip,
ie, Israel starts honoring human rights, or
USA won't help it with defense. If Israel
chooses to skip Iron Dome, then increased
attack effectiveness by its foes could reduce
its attacks on Gaza & neighbors.
