Firstly, no, a nation is not equatable with an indigenous tribe. Nations are not made up of singular ethnographies nor cultures. You fact that you think about nations this way is a clear demonstration of ethno-nationalism.

Secondly, nobody is saying any nation cannot make reasonable expectations and requirements about who they let into their country. It is simply that MAKING ETHNICITY OR RACE AN ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT OF ENTRY OR LIFE IN THAT COUNTRY IS BAD, both morally and - it turns out - economically and historically.

I am stunned by the number of people on these forums going out to bat for ETHNOSTATES.

There are migrants who come from the East, from Africa, from the Americas.

And since we are a very altruistic, generous Nation who believes that it's all thanks to our DNA, we want to preserve who we are.
Because in other countries there are nations who persecute minorities, who persecute atheists, who treat women as third class citizens.

If these people take over in Europe, they will be doing the same thing they do in their countries of origin.
