The difference is that our population growth rate is 0. Meaning there were more deaths than births, last year.
In most African countries, they doubled their population throughout 30 years.
What does that mean? That when I was born the world population was 4 billion or so.
Now it has doubled, yet so many people from my generation are childless.
So world population doubled because of non-Europeans.
