Amen! Truly I say to you: Gather in my name. I am with you.
I wish it would snow here (North Central Texas). All we get here is cold sunny days and occasionally we'll get the 33 degree rain (that's a real treat  ).

Cool, I love seeng pics of the east DarkDale.

I miss living in Blacksburg, Va. They've already had eight or nine inches this year. They'll have a couple of feet before the winter is over. All we get in DC is ice and slush. :(

Someone here in Richmond described it as Sleeze (snow, sleet and freezing rain all mixed together), so I was quite surprised to see big fluffy, white snowflakes today.

Well, we have been told we're going to have a very hard winter here, this year. But Bournemouth is extraordinary. The town centre can be totally free of snow; go out five miles in any direction (except the sea unless you like a swim:D ), and there will be snow...........

So you're in Richmond? very cool. The snow looks great there. I'll have to call my folks and see what's happening there.

It's pretty much the same thing along the front range (of the Rockie Mountains) here in Colorado, Michel. If you move eight miles in any direction, the micro climate changes. It's hard to predict the weather in the shadow of a mountain range. Right now, there's snow on the ground where I'm at.

We had enough snow this past week at my home town (too bad I'm not there :() that my dog got stuck in it. :biglaugh: He's not a small dog, either. He's got a pitbull's body (though he's not pure pit), so I laughed so hard when my mom told me the story of it. :biglaugh:

I think the only people who pray for snow here are skiiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers and ski resort owners. Which might include 1/3 of the people in this area. There is enough snow here to open the resorts, but they need more. You don't want to ruin your snowboard or skiis on the rocks.

It's been really, really rough here in Florida. Yeah, I am still wearing shorts and short sleeve shirts, but I turn off the AC at night (I run it only during the day), and this morning I even tried out my seat heater on my new Ridgeline for at least two minutes!

I think I have the best of both worlds. Sitting here in the reasonable warmth (though the forecast tells us the temp is going down over the next week), watching the beauty of your snow. You keep it, and keep posting pictures....:D

yes but mich, we get english snow:D, that is to say, the kind of snow that turns into wet slush as soon as it touches the ground, and turns a gorgous slugish brown colour, and only occurs between rain and rain

I guess I spoke too soon. Snow is in the forcast for tomorrow evening (the High will be 35 and the Low will be 17). I don't want to believe the weather forcasters since I just went outside, and it's 60 degrees with clear skies (perfect day).
