Finding fault has become an art form these days.
I don't see how that was 'finding fault'.

Finding fault has become an art form these days.
Including me. I'm not an idiot, Hockey, I know what the JW's say. It is a threat to my existence, morality, and spiritual being, and a poorly veiled one at that.
Listen. You call your group a spiritual paradise. So, when you all get together inside or outside you believe the air between you guys is Holy Spirit. Am I wrong?
I agree with you that the paradise of God is inside a person by the presence of Jesus Christ. That is NOT what the governing body teaches.
You are right! LOL But, they act as a group. IF they are teaching error they each one together must repent. Correct?
This is where you are inconsistent. You say that Jehovah used the Roman church to take right care of the Bible but Jehovah let them keep it away from everyone else. Does that make sense to you?
Jehovah's Witnesses set Jehovah in a bad light. Like how?
Your god can do something extraordinary as in letting no misconceptions creep in, but your god can't make then share the truth with others. @kjw47 will say it wasn't time. Maybe you believe that too. It wasn't time for God to help people? What kind of lesson is that??????????????
you and yours will be magically floated to Heaven
while the rest of us face horrible, fiery destruction and annihilation
Romans 6:7.... if one is freed, then one no longer has to pay. Romans 6:23... the wages of sin is death, not torment.Where does the Bible teach that?
Romans 6:7.... if one is freed, then one no longer has to pay. Romans 6:23... the wages of sin is death, not torment.
I am also well aware of the belief that come Armageddon, you and yours will be magically floated to Heaven while the rest of us face horrible, fiery destruction and annihilation.
No, we don't teach that. I hope to live here on the Earth. Matthew 5:5
During Armageddon, this System will be destroyed along with those "loving violence". Jehovah will not allow the innocent to suffer annihilation.
I'm sorry you think we teach otherwise.
@Oeste I think that you are an amazingly talented writer.
I never said you did, deeje, so spare us the sarcasm.Oh dear! Threats to your existence, morality and spiritual being? When did I ever make threats to you personally at all.
Practically, I agree with you here. But neither does he tell things; it's all coming from a book written by people that you believe is "the word of god" because they told you that's what it is. If your god started actually talking more, rather than it all coming from various ravenous fan-clubs, maybe people would start taking these "warnings-for-the-future-but-really-just-threats" with a bit more veracity.God doesn't make threats...
I never said I feel threatened. That does not change the threat. If a four year old tells me he's going to beat me up, however laughable and harmless that is it is still a threat issued. If you feel threatened, then you are threatened by your own choices.
Your disbelief in my gods is not the issue, deeje. You or anyone elses'. Unlike the Abrahamic faiths, most other faiths really just don't care; you do you. And there lies the issue; it's that your group decides to make your disbelief and disapproval in our gods and your disrespect of our beliefs a "personal mission" to interrupt our day and crap on our doorstep. (Figuratively speaking; don't get lost in the metaphor)Please don't blame others because they disagree with you and the worship of your gods.
Ah, the victim-flip. Look, if you want to believe in all the "destruction of the wicked" and make ridiculous videos like the one in the OP, do so to your heart's content. I guess that's your right. But keep it off our doorsteps, and maybe stop going so far as to bother people while they're at work, putting them on the spot with your leaflets. Your "right to belief" doesn't include the right to directly bother others. The end of all wickedness is what God is going to bring about....and we look forward to it. Is that wrong?
You're welcome.Thank you for the kind words Savagewind.
As do I! I was a JW until I learned that what I was doing was trying to hit the mark the governing body chose and to do it their way. I believe God is for leading each person and not The Group. I suspect that the monsters in the Bible are visions of groups of people.I miss the mark quite a few times, but the best any of us can do is try.
Thank you.Your comments sometime remind me of the "voice in the wilderness" crying to the Watchtower to make its path straight. Every church has a voice like this and its one we all need to hear.
You're going to pick that one verse out of the whole chapter and claim we can pay for our own sins with our own death?
How bout reading verses 1-6!
Everyone who has lived and are no longer here have died and the paid the wages of sin.
Again, witnesses take that one verse, out of the whole chapter and claim we pay for our sin with our own death. Read verses 1-6.
LOL. It isn't about your physical death. How is it out of context? "The wages of sin is death" so when a person dies they have paid sin's wages.
Christ's death is the currency for the payment. Without Jesus' sacrifice, the death would be permanent.
