this thread is directed for christians, if non-christians want to defend jesus divinity it's fine but use christian doctrines and beliefs, dont invent things which christians dont really believe in.

The heading is "Jesus Is Not God", and I gave my answer, you can't get what you want all the time.well... my thread is for those who believe that jesus died for their sins.
According to the scriptures He became a human man.
christians say that jesus died on the cross, if so, he is not god for god cannot die.
this is just one point, I might discuss other points as the thread progresses.
The heading is "Jesus Is Not God", and I gave my answer, you can't get what you want all the time.
ok fine since you dont believe jesus is god anyways, but for those who wants to defend jesus' divinity even if they dont believe he is god, they have to use christian beliefs and doctrines etc.
Since I believe the scriptures, then I believe it is entirely possible and not a problem for the God who created heaven and earth to be fully human and fully God.god cannot become human, if he became human, he is no longer god.
if god became human just for a while, then once upon a time there was no god to sustain life.
if only the son god became human, then there are two gods or three if you will include the holy spirit.
Lots of people died on the cross.so who died on the cross?!
Who says? Will you tell God what He can or cannot do?god cannot become human, if he became human, he is no longer god.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all God (same Essence) manifesting in Three Persons. The closest analogy I can think of is three people sharing the same soul.if god became human just for a while, then once upon a time there was no god to sustain life.
if only the son god became human, then there are two gods or three if you will include the holy spirit.
You haven't defined any of your terms nor justified any of your assumptions. What do you mean by death, and what do you mean by God?we have to use logical reasoning to find the truth. and logic dictates that god cannot die, jesus died therefore jesus is not god.
that's nonsense, an object cannot be 100% black at the same time 100% white.Since I believe the scriptures, then I believe it is entirely possible and not a problem for the God who created heaven and earth to be fully human and fully God.
so your god can become the devil?!Who says? Will you tell God what He can or cannot do?
God and Satan are two different beings. So, no. Technically God can do anything He wants but He has a nature and His actions don't conflict with it.so your god can become the devil?!
There's nothing that contradicts God choosing to take on human flesh. Why do you think that God incarnating into human form makes Him no longer God?the state of being god is is completely opposite and contradicting from the state of being the devil, just like being god and being man.
once god becomes the devil then he's no longer god, once god becomes man then he is no longer god.

I'm not sure if you know what logic is.common sense and logical reasoning!
god is god, man is man
evil is evil, good is good
strong is strong, weak is weak
white is white, black is black.
white isnt black
strong isnt weak
evil isnt good
god isnt human
if we are not suppose to use logical reasoning, then what are we doing here in a discussion forum?!
if muslims were to use christians' reasoning, it would be like this:
christian: "if muhammad is a prophet, why did he marry a child?"
muslim: "because god allowed it"
christian: "what!!! what kind of a god is that?!"
muslim: who are you to question god?! god can do anything!
TADAA!!!!
From what I gather in the holy scriptures,it appears that Jesus is not God the Almighty.Jesus is the Son of God the Almighty.
God the Almighty does not turn into flesh. He also cannot die.No man has ever seen God.Jesus makes this clear to a crowd.
John 5:37 And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, NIV So Jesus explains to the crowd about God the Almighty, and how they have never heard nor seen Him.Clearly,Jesus is not God the Almighty. If Jesus was God the Almighty, then those people Jesus was explaining to, would be hearing and seeing him.
