There is no one supreme God amongst Avatars or incarnations of the second person of the Trinity.

But if you want you can consider either one of them supreme according to your preference.

As an aside, I find the idea that one must make a serious effort to decide accurately how the ranking for supremacy among exalted deities somewhat peculiar.

Why would such a need exist? It is not like the Devas, Avatara or understandings of the Abrahamic God are in some sort of competition for supremacy - or that it would fall to humans to arbitrate such a competition if it even existed!

Or so I would think, anyway. Am I missing something there?

See, I can do it too. I got you to say "How dare you!!!' Now we just have to figure out how to do something with a certain Mister.

Right?

Regards.

I feel so used.

Out of the shame, I'm going to have to run off to the hills and become a monk.

I'll finish uni first though.

Luis will need a lot of training to learn how to manipulate a particular gentleman of much regard(s).

Kirran is easy to manipulate. But if you become an adept at it, I can provide a few more RF names I'd like you to manipulate some.
When you do, be aware of my special offer: I manipulate others into thinking that I support LGBT rights for free.

It is too bad that people only think I am stubborn, then.

Right? Please!

If and when I become a manipulator a la carte, requests for my posing as a defender of LGBT rights come as a freebie.

Obviously, there is no real need to do such thing as to decide which God is superior.

However, in Hinduism there is the concept of Ishta Devata - meaning your chosen God. This is supposed to be your favorite God, who you worship and revere more than the others. There is nothing wrong with making such a choice. The Gods don't mind if you do that. Of course, if you believe in only one, then you don't have a choice.

There are also people who will claim that their chosen God is the supreme one - for instance some Vaishnavites say that Vishnu is supreme and some Shaivites say that Shiva is supreme. The extreme form of such a claim, is to say that my God is the only God and yours is not a God at all (or worse yours is the devil) - but that does not happen often in India, that is more the Abrahamic attitude.

There is only one God the Father and his Son who came from him and into this world to save everyone because God loves you. Krishna is a created being who died and will be judged by the Son just like everyone else. Krishna did not die to absolve any sins, nor was he God, but just a mortal being like anyone one of us.

I don't have that problem...

śivāya vishnu rūpaya
śivaḥ rūpaya vishnave
śivasya hridayam viṣṇur
viṣṇoscha hridayam śivaḥ

Vishnu's appearance is Shiva;
Shiva's appearance is Vishnu
Vishnu is the heart of Shiva;
Shiva is the heart of Vishnu - The Yajurveda

ooh he said Yajurveda heeheeheehee :D

Psst... you're preaching and offending Hindus.

Just sayin'.
