Jewish fanaticism.

And I guess a crock-pot that I have left on over-night must also be a by-product of my "Jewish fanaticism".

And I guess you don't understand the definition of fanaticism. It is going against the social norm.

You cannot tell the difference between turning on a safe crock pot, and leaving on a dangerous hot plate overnight because your religion dictates how you have no freedom to use electricity as needed to warm a cold family?

Which killed many of your children?

I have to admit that I've never been accused of "Jewish fanaticism",

Do you turn dangerous appliances on overnight because your religion says you don't have the freedom to turn it on during certain times?

Electricity on Shabbat - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Many Jews who strictly observe Shabbat (the Sabbath), especially within Orthodox Judaism, refrain from what is considered turning electricity on or off during Shabbat. They may also refrain from making adjustments to the intensity of electrical appliances. Various rabbinical authorities have pronounced on what is permitted and what is not, but there are many disagreements in detailed interpretation, both between different individual authorities and between branches of Judaism

Is this or is this not fanaticism, that is the question?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Let me make one example to realize who was responsible, religion practice or negligence.

One atheist used to use condom when having sex with any girl he knows,of course he don't believe about punishment and hence he don't fear making multiple relationships with women, one night he missed to use condom and he found out later on that the girl was infected with HIV, then who to blame, atheism or missing the condom.

Was saddened last night on the news. The death of 7 children over religious cultural practices.

Left the hot plate on so they could use it the next day, lit the house on fire in the middle of the night.

They had tried to get around the religious laws and customs and ended up killing their whole family, while two people slid out a second story window who remain critically injured.

Its terrible when people place their family in grave danger to please religious ideology.

I hate seeing children die over what many would claim is mythology, based on an event with no historicity at all.

Seven kids killed in Brooklyn house fire: officials - NY Daily News
What does this have to do with Judaism?

Thousands of Orthodox Jews leave hot plates on during Shabbos. Very few of them cause a fire.

Millions of people die in car accidents, how dare you use a car.

Really stupid OP.

The original post is fanatical.

So what? How does this affect you?

Yeah...it was an accident.

You would be putting them at risk daily by having electricity in the house! Clearly, the presence of electricity is a real threat!
Excellent point.

If they didn't have gas or electricity that would greatly lower the risk of a fire. Thus we shouldn't have gas or electricity.

As to be honest, it was just an accident and it can happen to anyone regardless of religious beliefs.

It was a religious accident, caused by the mothers lack of freedom due to religious customs that restricted her use of electricity as needed.

A hot plate was factually left on to follow a regional orthodox religious law or custom.

7 children are dead cooked alive because of their parents Jewish customs.

WAS A hot plate left on to follow regional orthodox religious laws? yes or no
They were dead because of an accident.

I vote this for the dumbest thread award.

Should all people who celebrate Christmas not have Christmas trees. They are a fire hazard.

How about a threaD title CHRISTIAN FANATICS CAUSE CHILDREN TO DIE?

And Christmas trees are a fire hazard and caused the deaths of children.

Obviously it's because the parents' lack of freedom "due to religious customs".

I actually thought up the same analogy before I read this.

10. Perhaps the most important thing of all is to remember to turn the hot plate off. Hot plates that have been left on are the source of most hot plate related injuries.

You do realise that this is related to accidentally touching a hot plate without realising its still on, right?

If the mother was not orthodox Jewish.

Would her 7 children still be alive?

That hot plate would not have been turned on ALL NIGHT would it?

You know there are cooking techniques which require a lot of time. Braising for example can take up to 7 hours.

So yeah her kids could be dead if she hadn't been Jewish and was actually braising something overnight.

And I guess you don't understand the definition of fanaticism. It is going against the social norm.

Wait cooking something for long time periods is against the social norm?

They are dead now because of religion, and you think its a game.

Well at least he isn't the one to write something like this.
7 children are dead cooked alive because of their parents Jewish customs.

PS: Electricity is not fire.

xmas trees are "socially normal"

Religious laws limiting ones use of electricity are factually "not socially normal" as a whole.

A hot plate was factually left on to follow a regional orthodox religious law or customs.

Without this particular religious practice, a dangerous hotplate would not have been left on overnight, and 7 children would not have died.
