I predict that there's a 90% chance that any prediction I make will be wrong.
(If I had any political sense, I wouldn't be a Libertarian.)

Well of course... the 90% margin of error is assumed.

The general rule is as follows: the moments you realize that you are a cosmic smuck, you tend to become less of a cosmic smuck, but if you spend your whole life never thinking you are a cosmic smuck, than you most certainly are a cosmic smuck.

With her service record, she would be formidable.

I wonder what would weigh more in the upcoming election? Cause if she runs, Bosnia will come into play again. I do think it was a mistake and did hurt her foreign policy credentials at the time. She later apologized.
I think her last 4 years as Secretary of State will weigh much more on her credibility and foreign policy experience.
Of course you'll see the GOP drag bengazi in again because they really don't have anything else on her. But if they do, people will be shaking their heads at the GOP wondering why they haven't learned anything.

I don't think those issues would dog her at all.
They'd come up, but be quickly dismissed due to age & lack of a smoking gun.

Whole of America presidents are elected by the Jewish lobby.
Otherwise, the assassinated are!
Jews do seem to wield a lot of power proportionately, but Xian influence greatly overshadows them.
The 2 religious groups just happen to share common goals.

I hope the GOP brings it up and expect it. Probably with McCain leading the way again. If they are blind as to what is going on in their party, it's their own fault to lose another election.

Every potential weakness will be brought up in order to see what gains traction with the media & the public.
Real world significance is largely irrelevant.

Female? Jew? Gay? Muslim? Atheist?
Nah....those are all so possible as to be ordinary.
Now, a Transgender Libertarian prez would really turn over the apple cart!
You mean I was supposed to write in Ru Paul instead of Ron Paul?

Which will be a test for fox and rush this next election season. They knew they contributed to the loss. Will they learn the next time around? We'll have to see. I already see the silencing going on.

A summary of pro-Israel campaign donations for the period of 1990–2008 collected by Center for Responsive Politics indicates current totals and a general increase in proportional donations to the US Republican party since 1996.[45] The Center for Responsive Politics' 1990–2006 data shows that "pro-Israel interests have contributed $56.8 million in individual, group and soft money donations to federal candidates and party committees since 1990."[46] In contrast, Arab-Americans and Muslim PACs contributed slightly less than $800,000 during the same (1990–2006) period.[47] In 2006, 60% of the Democratic Party’s fundraising and 25% of that for the Republican Party's fundraising came from Jewish-funded Political Action Committees. Democratic presidential candidates depend on Jewish sources for 60% of money from private sources.[48]

1990-2006 is 16 years. 56.8 million/16 years... 3.55 million on year average. That's in comparison to other donators, some which are just individual companies.

It seems the Jews have a better shot if you think about the stats. Out of all 44 presidents, none are Jewish and society is just now %2 Jewish. Statistically, we'd expect to see one every 50 presidents are so if that statistic was always the same, which I I'm not sure it was.

Women on the other hand have never been elected out of 44 presidents, but they make up 50% of the population. So we should have already seen 22, give or take.

So it wouldn't surprise to see several Jewish presidents before a female president. :( Not that I would mind a Jewish president, just it's sad to see huge gaps in representation.
That is an amazing abuse of high school level math.
50 marbles: 1 blue and 49 green; 25 marked 'X' and 25 marked 'Y'.
There has never been a blue or a 'Y' marble selected.
Therefore, the blue marble has "if you think about the stats."
Care for a friendly game of craps?

Did you mean to say the blue marble has a better chance "if you think about the stats."

I don't generally consider the complex nature of humans electing politicians akin to picking marbles out of a bag.

If something is more likely to happen and it has yet to happen for as long as something else that is far less likely to happen, than the apparent likelihood of the more-likely thing is pretty empty... something else is conflicting with the numbers. On the other hand, it is entirely possible that the reason there has never been a Jewish president up to this point could be a matter or pure statistics (though it's likely not.)

If you flipped 44 coins and got 44 heads, you might start questioning the legitimacy of the weight distribution in that coin.

There are plenty of Jewish politicians, well above the average of people practicing Judaism in the U.S. A. Just because we haven't had a Jewish president doesn't mean anything.

Of course there's never been any jewish president. The secret shadow government is run by the jews and consider the option of open control to be detrimental to their plans of taking over the world! Just kiddin' of course. :D

When it comes to the election of the president and the representatives, majority opinion is a very strong driving force. 70% or more Americans are Christian (of one or another form), so there's the issue of majority picks being mostly leaning towards Christians, since the majority of the voters will be Christian (of some kind).

But the tides are changing, and it wouldn't surprise me if we see an openly gay female Jewish president in the near future, or some other combination.

I've said before I'd love to one day see an openly gay female Muslim president. I'd have a party that would last a week. For real. :p

It would be embarrassing for openly gay female Muslims, if this particular president happened to be the next authoritarian dictator.
