Jews are the smartest people

Not all cultural influences are as obvious. The last word about what traits are inherited (and how much) isn't spoken, yet. We are pretty sure about some but maths isn't on that list.
...yet.
Science, neurology, genetics are not something immutable.
They constantly change because of new discoveries. Every five seconds, given the scientific progress rate and digitalization.

By this logic, wouldn’t it be more accurate to use Go which is far more complex than Chess.
Thereby concluding that Chinese, Japanese and Koreans respectively are more deserving of the title?

Nope .. you fail again to consider important factors to the accuracy of the metric. Go is not played much by non-asians .. so by default not accurate at all as an assessment.

Chess is a game that is actually played in most places -- nor is Go being more complex a factor .. as both are beyond the ability of a human in complexity .. thus being equal metrics if anything in terms of complexity.

Of course genetics is fundamental...with all due respect.
My experience in the early 2000s. Faculty of Engineering: the 80% of students were males.
Faculty of Law: 70% of students were females.
Faculty of Literature and Philosophy: 90% were females.

Males are genetically predisposed to understand math. Period.
Women are better at law. It's a fact, at least in my country.
That is ridiculous.

While I agree with the general premise that Jews seem to be smarter - looking at Nobel Foundation awards as a metric is deeply flawed .. for reasons I will let you ponder.

The metric I like to use is Chess --- a competition where the prize is not "Awarded" to re recipient via pastisan board. 50% or more of the World Champions have been of Jewish Dissent. our of a population of 0.2 .. in a game where everyone can play .. another flaw with the above metrics ..where most of the worlds population are not able to play.
The qualifiers you stipulated:
The metric I like to use
a competition where the prize is not "Awarded" to re recipient via pastisan board.
in a game where everyone can play ..
Go qualifies in each metric stipulated.

our of a population of 0.2
Percentage of general world population does not equate to percentage of Chess players worldwide.
From https://ppqty.com/how-many-know-play-chess/……
“It is estimated that around 600 million people globally know how to play chess, showcasing the game’s widespread popularity and reach.”

“Approximately 8% of the world’s population knows how to play chess, indicating a significant portion of individuals who have acquired the knowledge and skills to play this ancient game.”…
“However, the exact percentage of people who know how to play chess can vary significantly depending on various factors such as geographical location, cultural background, and access to resources.”…..
“Cultural influences play a significant role in determining the percentage of people who know how to play chess. In some cultures, chess is highly valued and considered an important intellectual pursuit.
For example, in Eastern European countries, chess is often seen as a symbol of intelligence and is encouraged as a means of developing critical thinking skills.
Conversely, in some cultures, chess may not hold the same level of importance or recognition.
This can impact the number of people who are exposed to the game and have the opportunity to learn and play it.”

The International Go Federation has 75 member nations.

In other words Chess is culturally popular in areas where Jewish population are higher…..
Go is culturally popular in Asian areas…….
It’s not too surprising that each area’s population concentrations would excel at the game that is popular within that population……

Notice the “In some cultures, chess is highly valued and considered an important intellectual pursuit” from above; could it be one of those cultures is the Jewish culture?
That’s my point. You’re appearing to be Eurocentric in your preference for Chess over Go which is in fact far more complex.
AI is capable of beating chess masters,
to the best of my knowledge, AI is not yet able to beat Go masters.

For the IQ most scientist think that. They are only debating whether it's more like 45 to 55 or 55 to 45.

The number of chess players gives a much better representation of the globe than Go . and I did read that the top Go player was beated by a computer -- regardless, how does this bear on the question of whether or not the Jews are smarter on the basis of "Chess" .. or on the basis of receiving an award from a select partisan panal .. or perhaps both. and why this might be the case.

The Texas sharpshooter fallacy is an informal fallacywhich is committed when differences in data are ignored, but similarities are overemphasized. From this reasoning, a false conclusion is inferred. This fallacy is the philosophical or rhetorical application of the multiple comparisons problem (in statistics) and apophenia (in cognitive psychology). It is related to the clustering illusion, which is the tendency in human cognition to interpret patterns where none actually exist.
The name comes from a metaphor about a person from Texas who fires some gunshots at the side of a barn, then paints a shooting target centered on the tightest cluster of hits and claims to be a sharpshooter.

good that you understand your fallacy but, .. How does this relate to the fact that Chess (50% of World Champs Jewish) is a far better indicator of above average intelligence than the Nobel partisan prize process ?

You began your response by generally accepting the proposition of “Jews are the smartest people.”
You rightly criticized the metric of using the Nobel Foundation as bring problematic in determining a hierarchy of intelligence. (Though you didn’t elaborate precisely why)
I agree, though possibly for different reasons.

As @beenherebeforeagain pointed out in post #13 that there could be a wide variety of ways of inferring the same designation of hierarchical intelligence demonstrating by picking another set of similarities being overemphasized; in this case
“40% of all Nobel Prizes have been awarded to Americans”, which of course could be more impressive than the 22% awarded to Jews.
Or we could look for men, and find 97% being awarded.
The point being that none of the above data was collected with the aim of determining intelligence.
It’s erroneous pattern recognition ignoring far more variables.

You then offered another metric…chess;
I pointed out the fact that it is also problematic for the same reasons…….
It’s erroneous pattern recognition ignoring far more variables when trying to equate the win percentage of a group chosen in an attempt to bolster a presupposed proposition.

Both are the same erroneous attempt to find a perceived pattern from data not designed for such use, while not taking into account possibly more pertinent variables.

You then offered another metric…chess;
Chess is a very simple game compared to go.
Who holds every top professional title?
Asians.
Does this make them more intelligent?
Nah. It means that the game is far more
popular & obsessed over by them.

“Many authors see the roots of modern antisemitism in both pagan antiquity and early Christianity. Jerome Chanes identifies six stages in the historical development of antisemitism:

  1. Pre-Christian anti-Judaism in ancient Greece and Rome which was primarily ethnic in nature
  2. Christian antisemitism in antiquity and the Middle Ages which was religious in nature and has extended into modern times
  3. Traditional Muslim antisemitism which was—at least, in its classical form—nuanced in that Jews were a protected class
  4. Political, social and economic antisemitism of Enlightenment and post-Enlightenment Europe which laid the groundwork for racial antisemitism
  5. Racial antisemitism that arose in the 19th century and culminated in Nazism in the 20th century
  6. Contemporary antisemitism which has been labeled by some as the New Antisemitism” (Antisemitism - Wikipedia)

It seems even Wikipedia can forget some things.
- Pre-Christian anti-Judaism (which also included Christians later on) which was religious and economic. The pagan Romans donated to multiple temples according which god they wanted on their side. Those donations flowed back into the state budget. Monotheists who only ever donated to their one god were seen as stingy.
- Anti Semitism that resulted from envy. As many "honest" jobs were denied to Jews in the middle ages, many of them were in the despised banking business. When banking became honorable and lucrative, Jewish families already dominated the industry.
