Two interesting concepts have appeared in this thread, No Judgement and Reincarnation. There is a very interesting statement about this in Revelation,
`He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.'
Revelation 2:11
What we have here is a statement that seems to support reincarnation. My conclusion about this verse is that it is implying the death of the soul. This would be the "that's it, you're outta here" judgement. It also implies that you still exist after you die. This does not invalidate the Karma scenario, which is a judgement by God.
I think the concept of not making it to heaven if you don't follow Jesus is a little skewed. Surely, if you follow Him, you will be rewarded in heaven or pass the judgement. However, if someone manages to accomplish this and is not a Christian, they will have done the same things as if they had followed Jesus anyway. Therefore, the concept of a set of rules for passing judgement are the same no matter what religion you are, just as Terry said.
