Julian Assange Arrested in London

So why did he only release Democratic emails, obviously he wanted Trump to win, I'm sure he had incriminating emails from the Republicans too but he never published them.
Was it him personally who released the mails? or could it be one of the people in wikileaks? by the way Assange was in the embassy when the mails was released.
He want the world to know the dark side of power and politics. And in the time before election of trump Wikileaks did release a lot about how american military is doing their "business" in other countries, and much of that is not a good thing

If Assange is put on trial in the United States, it will be a fight between those who want to cover up and conceal government corruption and malfeasance - versus those who seek greater transparency in government and support the public's right to know.

Some are saying Assange was kick out of the Embassy because he wouldn't clean the bathroom or clean up after his cat.

Like a bad housemate who never cleans up after themselves, eventually you got to kick them out.

Assange authorized the release of the Democratic emails, and refused to release any Republican emails, going back to his grudge against Hillary for earlier attempts to prosecute him.

Is that your opinion or do you have evidence of it?
Personally i am no fan of Trump or Hillary. But i have a lot of respect for wikileaks and their work

Chelsea Manning, the person, the originally released US military documents to Wikileaks had her 35 year sentence commuted by Obama. Now however I think they are holding in prison for refusing to testify about the leaks.

I think its just a simple statement of fact, Assange hated Hillary, and didn't care if he helped Trump's campaign.

When did Assange say he hate Hillary? Yes Hilary did have things she tried to hide but that does not mean Assange hate her? Do Trump has things he want to hide, Yes that has already been proven. Will he get in trouble after he is finish as President? probably yes. is hea good President? Not in my view

But remeber Assange started Wikileak long before Trump did try to become president.
Have Assange done wrong in is life? yes he has, But that does not mean he hate Hillary

After all the years, the embassy kicks him out and he gets arrested. What's next?

Assange will be extradited to the US.
Trump will issue a broad brush pardon.

If he gets to trial in the US. Part of the agreement to allow his arrest is that he cannot be extradited to a country where he is liable to be tortured or executed. So the US will have to word the extradition document to guarantee he will not be tried for a capital crime.
After "enhanced interrogation" I hope there is sufficient leeway to challenge such an extradition regardless of the wording.

I think that he kicked the Government's A**, and it was well needed. That kid who spilled the beans about Iraq, is a hero also.

The traitors who passed America's atomic
secrets to the Russians did so out of what they
considered to be noble motives.

The consequences include the Korean war.
A lot of people died.

Evidently Gavrilo Princip thought he was
noble and heroic, and here he started WW!

I get the duty of civil disobedience, such as refusing
to serve in an unjust war. Whistle blowing has its
place for sure.

What Assange did was a bit much of a responsibility
for one person to take on himself.

Perhaps someone can think of a time someone
tossed a monkey wrench, and improved the world.

Perhaps, but only because Trump will find out Assange is not his friend and will kick him under the bus as he did to Hillary.

This was a big red headline.
Woe unto free news....victory to the black bag crowd.

Hey, Brits...thanx for being Obama's & Trump's tools.
The guy skipped bail awaiting an extradition hearing. That's a criminal offence. And then we need to hold the original extradition hearing, under the law. The law is the law. If Assange can mount a convincing defence against extradition, he will not be extradited.

Sometimes the law is worth flouting.
Fighting government secrecy is useful too.
