Justify creationism over evolutionism

70 years wasted, if you ask me. What are we living in the bronze age? I can't believe people fall for this kind of stuff.

Well Triss, it is not a matter of falling for it, it is a matter of being dragged in screaming.:149: Kinda like when you see a mother dragging her kid around in a toy store.:jam:

How is it a matter of being dragged kicking and screaming?

Yeah - really perfect. Just ignore the fact that if you were relocated to anywhere in the other 99.999999% of the universe that wasn’t earth you’d die in a horrible way.
I said like time for instance. we have sideral time, we have time gaged by the moon, and all the planets get along so well that Pythagoras says they play the music of the sphears. Who alinged the stars, and gave the sun ans moon to light up it in its prescribed time.

What do you mean by ‘just’? I never understand this line of reason because it is the creationist that postulates that god randomly decided to do stuff – which explains precisely nothing. But the creationists never seem to realise they have a non-explanation.

OK, then your theory is that it took million or billions of years to develop.
just a week ago, there was an island that was recently found, sand or something that was created since the last tsunami, and prior to that the sciences said that for such a situation to develop it would take a few million years. NOw that must have been embarassing.

An island...sand or ...something?
can you get a little more specific?
or perhaps a source?

Reading the scripture, it say that the chosen of God were chosen before the foundation of the world, so in god's good time he decides to put you to work for him, but here you are out in the world having a grand time, and no body wants to give up the things of the world, money love and what have you. Some come along like little sheep, but many are hard driven and try to resist, but as it is said, god is the potter and we are the clay, can the clay say to the potter i do not want to be made? parable. It is hard to let go of posessions, but God's love is so protecting and wonderful, you eventually give in.

When people use the phrase "science says..." or "scientists say" without the faintest smidgen of a source or even a faint whiff of understanding, is it wrong to assume the are talking BS?

You should know, I don't take anything the bible has to say seriously. So, why are you preaching to me? And I haven't given in, so, I guess "god's" love really isn't that wonderful. And which god? There are so many god's I could believe in, how am I to determine which one has gotten it right? I personally think they've all gotten it wrong. But thats a different subject.

It figures, why would a religious person need to do some research and actually find out for him or her self?

I suggest you don't take everything you hear at face value, especially from a website called creationmoments.com. Investigate for yourself and understand the matter before you decide if it's true or not.

Thanks for looking... :D
I may be careful in the future about such claims... you'll want to have a resource ready so that those of us who are curious can check it out for ourselves.

I gave their dinosaur stuff a quick look over... I wouldn't suggest using them as a resource on dinosaurs... there are too many simple errors. Not a big surprise as a lot of popular information on dinosaurs is out of date and mixed up with ideas from movies.

point is, the rapture will happen on 5/21/2011 and it is stupid to even make such an agreement. 2012 is based on the Mayan calendar theory, and has no biblical validation. Fact is they never suspected it anyway. No, the word says, only God knows which means the info can only come from God. this as I said earlier, is notr based on dreams or visions or even intuition. It is purely the written word of God as it is slowly revealed over time. Bit it is a study that has taken 70 years to complete:yes:

THE SITUATION is like a woman in travail, rapture 5/21/2011-end of world 10/21/2011- there is no grace after 5/21/2011. Oh, and you do not have free will to decide if you will be saved. the power of Darkness/the prince of the air is your Lord and god, and until Jesus came he was all men's God. So here it is in a nut shell: That Adam and Eve lost the right to eternal salvation due to disobedience. Jesus gives eternal life back. And when they were conquered by Satan, then they came into bondage under him and from there all mankind came into bondage to him and thereby losing the free will they once had. So in effect you cannot chose to become saved or converted.

Actually, if you're right, it would be stupid not to. How does this sound: Let's make a bet. If there's an earthquake such as the world has never known between May 20 and May 23, 2011, I will pay you $100. If there isn't, you pay me $100. If you really believe what you are saying, you would be stupid NOT to take this bet. I'm confident enough that you're wrong to bet on it. Are you confident enough that you're right?

Could you be a little more vague?
Do you by any miracle have a source for this?
