Kansas Ends Bad Economic News by Not Reporting It

They don't always get better tax treatment.
Often, this different treatment is to encourage reinvestment of profits.
Avoiding liability can be done for ill, but it can also serve good.
Corporations can be sanctioned for wrongful behavior without
making every stockholder liable for things beyond their control.
All you just listed are attempts to circumvent the Law of Kamma.

I'm not in Kammaland, so I needn't obey their laws.
I just like systems which make sense in how they function.
That's fine, I'm just stating it's an evil in my eyes as a Buddhist.

The kammic consequences of evils done in the name of a corporation are deflected by human law onto the rest of society, and I find that deplorable and reprehensible.

Well, I am one of the deplorables.
We could have a long discussion about how well alternatives to the
corporate form of ownership fare, but that gets pretty far from Kansas.

Corporation owners & investors don't want to own the consequences of their actions done in the name of the corporation aka "insulation from legal liability". That's all I really need to know.
