Kids are Too Noisy

Shoot, when I go a restaurant, the children don't usually scream or if they do it is short lived. I have more of a problem from someone talking on their cell phone so loud the whole place can hear them.
Kids should not have to tiptoe around the playground at a school just because a night worker decided to move next door to a school. And as I said earlier, what about ear plugs or those sound canceling headphones MissAlice suggested?

I agree..Adults should shut up..(just like chidren) so we dont have to hear them laugh or have a conversatiion ANYWHERE (like the grocery store)..or a resturant..who wants to hear that crap anyway?Thats not why I went there..To listen to them laugh or fight or yap on about Suzie and Ron getting a divorce..

We should whisper or put tape over our mouths..

Children however in a PLAYGROUND for children should run and scream in delight for the 30 friggen minutes they get to do it a day at school..

If they are having an argument and it appears to be escalating, then staff should intervene. If one's shouting: "HEY, THROW THE BALL ALREADY!" and the other one replies: "OKAY, JEEZ!" then I would say no. Also, kids tend to run and scream. I would say it is instinctual.

I hope my neigbhors dont care that my grandbaby ran NAKED in the back yard today..and screamed and laughed (loud) while I sprayed him with a hose..And I laughed too!!AND my mother was here too and my grandmother and we talked and laughed..

I hope we didnt bother the neighbors..

This deserves a 'WHAT?!'. Seriously, school breaks aren't that long and after 4pm (least here in the UK it's 4pm) most schools are deserted apart from the occasional sports practice.

I've lived on major bus routes, facing onto the back of a metro train track and near to a steelworks. My current house is near a main road, a school and a major bus route.

I expected noise and learnt to deal with it. And I agree with the parent in the OP.
