Are you guys sure? Haven't you noticed that Continental Europe is getting more and more...you know...fascist?
Isn't it better to keep distant from all that?;)
Have you seen the UK? We are a facist state in all but name.
Restricting voting; banning protests; scrapping human rights; ranting on about patriotism; controlling the media

I'm pretty sure we can deal with Poland, Hungary and Italy. It will take time but dangling the benefits of the Union above their heads while threatening sanctions will do the trick. Especially as they now know what will happen if they leave (or get kicked out).

Threatening, blackmailing...wow...what a beautiful, godless EU.
No wonder UK left. :)

That's what you get for living in a society. Break the rules and you'll get held responsible.
I do believe in a European Union. Freed from the Sorosian elements.
You know... we need more Orbans and less Soroses in Europe to make Europe great.:)

Which country is Soros president of? Do we give them money that we can withhold if they don't play by the rules?

New So, after over 6-years since the referendum, most of Project Fear is proving to be Project Reality.
Recent polls are showing 60% in favour of rejoining
Leaving the EU has been a disaster for the UK

That's only 6 years...very short term

In the longer run (10 or 20+ years) they might be happy to have left the EU

The Tories are still in denial and Labour are scared to talk about it. The right-wing media is going quiet about it - blaming everything on COVID and Putin (To be fair, he did help promote and fund the Leave campaign)

Brexit was never going to be easy and as I have and others have said too 10/12 years and we’ll be ok.

The EU or commonwealth when it began was a great idea as a trading block, one day a bunch of contagious bureaucrats set out to over complicate a simple good idea with, well, you guessed it,they added unnecessary bureaucracy and 5 presidents, the EU which is essentially Germany France and Italy now, there are another 24 members but that’s as as far as their part goes although Poland and Hungary don’t give a damn what the EU directs.

The EU atm is impotent,Merkel has gone (thank goodness) Macron is president by name only and Stoltz is a nice guy I guess (not sure)that’s the best I can say for him, within two years there will be a lot of dissent in the EU,uncle Putin has given Ukraine and europe a cold winter, the EU not being a democracy doesn’t have a leader so it’s rudderless in direction.

For me Brexit is a good thing but I’m happy to negotiate to rejoin as long as the short sighted “free movement” is off the table and democracy is.

Anything is possible. I would not bet on it, though. Frankly, no one in his right mind would.

I for one can't wait for the movie.

In all honesty, you sound like you are talking of Middle Earth or something.
