There’s nothing to fix. Everything is already fixed.

Oh really? So, we can assume that everyone will have enough to eat tomorrow? Everyone has shelter and a safe place to sleep tonight? No one is being exploited or being paid less than they're worth anywhere in the world? No one will be lied to or cheated anymore? No one will be robbed, kidnapped, assaulted, or murdered anymore? It's all been fixed? Hmm...

God = Love
God isn’t a being.

For the sake of your question, here I would like to compare God/Love with Fire.

Fire loves to burn all the time, not to stop.

So, it's really just a chemical reaction. Not anything conscious or sentient.

Sure, If someone only loves you on the condition you are pure its not unconditional in my view.

If someone loves you but needs something in return such as security their motivation is self oriented. Whilst this is acceptable and understandable to a degree in humans it is not even remotely acceptable in a God that is supposed to be above such needs in my opinion.
Real love has no conditions IMO

I agree with everything you said, but I was coming from a different angle.
When I said that impurity is contrary to selfless unconditional love I meant that sex for lustful purposes is contrary to selfless unconditional love.

Conditions remind me of this meme...

I believe not necessarily. To people who have unconditional love for each other can have sex out of physical desire for each other for example.

That makes no sense to me.
It does to me - kinda.
Since there is no agreed upon definition of gods as beings, they could be defined as forces or feelings. But that has so many weird consequences that I suspect whoever comes up with such definitions hasn't thought it through.

Of course they can.

I said:

I had written:
When I said that impurity is contrary to selfless unconditional love I meant that sex just for lustful purposes is contrary to selfless unconditional love.

I took the word just out at the last minute but I guess I shouldn't have done that. ;)

Yes, God/love is non-sentient/unconcious all the time. Its not a chemical reaction, but yes you can compare it with chemical-reacion in order to understand it.

Yes, this non-sentient/unconcious energy is all the time busy in creating the creation that we see all around us.

Neither this energy care for providing shelter, nor care for revoking shelter.
Neither this energy care for providing food, nor care for revoking food.
Neither this energy care for providing freedom, nor care for revoking freedom.
Neither this energy care for providing respect, nor care for revoking respect.
Neither this energy care for providing blah blah blah, nor care for revoking blah blah blah.

But, yes we as a creation badly need of this blah blah blah..

Seeing from a supreme view-point creation / resistance is like sea-waves which emerge and merge back into the same sea after SOME-time.

And, this SOME-time can be of any time-span. 50/70/100 years, 1/100/1000/10000/100000/ rebirths, or any number of rebirths.

But, when questions like.. who am I ? what's purpose of life ? what is God ? who created all things ? blah blah blah start erupting in one's mind, then one should understand that -- his/her time of merging back, or the time of merging back of a sea-wave is NEARBY. :)

Love is a motivating force, but, it cannot create nor do anything independently. It is powerless in isolation. That is how to know for certain that God is not love. God creates in isolation. God is independent. Love cannot create in isolation. Love is not idependent. God possesses love, but God is not love.

Equating God with love is like equating the driver with the car. From the ouside, from beyond the car, the driver is occulded and obscured, and without the driver the car doesn't do anything. It would be silly to imagine a car driving itself. ( Pre AI, of course ). In the same way, God's love is observable. God's love cannot do anything without God. But unlike the car, God is not occluded and obscured, God is completely hidden. Because of this, it makes sense to make the mistake and think that God is love, even though that is just one of the infinite capabilites and qualities of God, but that is woefully incomplete. Perhaps all that individual can see or imagine is love, and cannot perceive God beyond the actions of "loving". That is a limitation on the individual.

The other problem with equating God with love, is, if an individual is suffering, and struggling through no fault of their own, this naturally produces doubt and/or a crisis of faith. So, the equivilance is not only incomplete, it's also potentially harmful.
God = Love
Like; Fire = Burning

Hi atheist !
Lets stop debating on God.

Now the question is:
Does love exist ? what do you say ? :)
Yes, some animals including humans and some birds have evolved with bonding hormones, which in particular bond male and female for child-rearing. Similarly there is bonding parent to child, some bonding sibling to sibling, a sense of family and a sense of larger family (cousins, grandparents, &c). Dogs are good at this too after living with people for some thousands of years.

We also have an evolved morality which includes loyalty to our group and respect for authority, without which no one would watch football games &c and many offices, factories, networks and the like wouldn't really work. The land, sea and air arms of military services wouldn't exist without these built-in attitudes.

God does more than love, fire does nothing other than burning.
Of course, God does more than love, my friend. Infant, ALL/Everything started from God, even this post of mine :)

Fire is just an example/analogy to answer the question. :)

How about this?

Love is no more than a Choice!!!
There’s an old saying — I am falling in love.
Instead of — I am doing love.

Falling means something which is out of the control, then how can love be a choice. :)

If it is choice, then it is fake-love/drama

I would like to know, what love means to you?

Deep affection, great pleaseure at their being, care, openness.

I feel the claimed love for an imagined god cheapens the what love can be.

Right. So God = love is incomplete. God is loving, is better. But again, I think it's good to be cautious. Some are suffering through no fault of their own. Claiming God is loving could be very painful, frustrating, depressing, etc... for them.

It is a choice since, in the very beginning, attraction gets it started but no one is in love without a certain amount of interaction. How many choices will one make in life without even really thinking it out or even realizing one is, indeed, choosing?

What is the old saying from that song Evergreen? Love, soft as an easy chair. When it feels good, the choosing often comes quickly and without thinking. We just want more of it. All that matters is the good feeling one never wants to end. It is so good we are swept off our feet so to speak.

It's a little like gambling. I know a guy who never gambled much but when he finally won, he went crazy to get that winning feeling again. Before long he lost everything he had. If he had never gotten that feeling of really winning, he would never have gotten crazy.

We are all Spiritual beings in our true natures. We think in Eternal terms. This is why we expect Love to last forever. For this reason, Love and relationships can be very sticky things and hard to let go of. Who ever wants to let go of the Idea of Unconditional Love, the feelings, and the joy of the early time of Love. Just like that gambler. one will do anything or go through anything not to lose that.

When people speak of Power, they might speak of might, maybe a Big stick, anger, wrath, hate or hurt, however there is no greater power than the Power of Love.

Does anyone really think God can't get anyone to do whatever God wants? All God has to do is Love you!! God's Unconditional Love is something one would do anything for. There is never an argument. Between physical lives, everyone will experience God's Unconditional Love.. Life has never ever been about punishment!!

That's what I see. It's very clear!!
