Why be LGBT when you can be LGBTIQCAPGNGFNBA? | The Spectator

No one uses those unweildy acronyms outside of activist circles that no one but them pay attention to. I just use LGBT. Sometimes I'll throw in a Q but that's it. And the pronoun thing is stupid. I can understand taking someone aside and politely asking their pronouns if you really don't know (like if they are really androgynous) but you don't need to ask everyone.
LGBT isn't pronouncable to you?It would be more useful if the acronym were something pronouncable. Elgubt just sounds stupid.

You say the letters, not as a word.Heck no. I can say NASA quite easily. It's like Nassah. Very easy.
But Elgubt (LGBT) sounds weird. Don't you think?

Same for you and everyone else, then.Just be who you are and shut up.

I wonder if it would be disrespectful if people just started referring to them as the LG's. Or... "Elgees".
...It would be soooo much easier. But I wouldn't want anyone to feel left out.
Well...from Christians I appreciate more this outspoken honestyJust be who you are and shut up.

well...I prefer simplicity.Just ignore the activist and use people's names. Bob's stuff. Dora's stuff. Darcy's stuff (hah with that one)
