Loud Music

I am in a student flat and there is a guy above me who likes to play music loud well into the morning.

It's always rap.

First, why is he so rude as to do this, and secondly.... most people listen to many genres of music. Why is it always rap that's blasted? Why is no-one blasting Chopin or Ava Max or The Beatles at 2 AM?

And why so bloody lacking in etiquette?

In his shoes, I'd be blasting metal...

Though I guess I probably wouldn't do it at 2am. That would be rude.

Some people are psychopaths and they just don't care, they have no emotion, and no empathy. They view the world as revolving around them not the other way around.

That's how I look at them personally.

If the music is a nuisance between 11pm and 7am you can apply to the council who may issue a warning notice.

It could be but as it's student housing it's a lot more wrangling and some people can be spiteful and come back at you.

People can be just ignorant. Who would play a drum kit if they lived in their parents semi-detached house? Well...I didn't do it for long....

I have another, closer neighbour who giggles all day every day really loudly. I think she's taking something. My ex noticed it when he came.
