I would talk to the landlord as well, whoever that is. Normally aren't there some rules the people have to follow? In some cases you might not be allowed to have animals and so on. And I would guess it is the same with noise.
Back when I had multi-family buildings for student
housing, my lease always warned that neighbors
could be loud. This was necessary only in student
areas, but it would've been illegal to mention their
being students because "educational affiliation"
is a protected group.

Some people just don't think about stuff like that. I don't mind if it's the middle of the day or in the evening, but if it's going on till the wee hours of night, or in the morning then no. Screw those people! They're jerks! Sorry your going through this. Can you make a noise complaint?
