Machete sold to 15-year-old boy (OH NOES!!!)

By the time I was 15 I had 2 longswords, 5 daggers, 2 katanas, a battle-axe and a morning star... A machete is nothing.

Did the mere possession of these objects fill you with the overwhelming urge to cut a swath of death and destruction that left you with no other choice than to act upon it?

why did you have so many knife's at that age?

I'm guessing this was addressed to me?

I've always been interested in ancient warfare and warriors and picked up various weapons that caught my eye. Some of them I use for ritual purposes, others are pure decoration. One of the katanas is actually a family heirloom as well.

While some people like diamonds and drapes, I like spikes and swords ;)

I wonder what the target of outrage and blame would be if someone when on a killing spree by bludgeoning people to death with a waffle iron.

And I was just sitting here wondering what to do with my waffle iron that broke yesterday morning.

Giving guns to a 15 year old? I think that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Oh and Apex if those swords are replicas then the police would be knocking at your door with a set of handcuffs ready.

Everyone in my family has a gun. Including my younger brother who is 10. All are taught gun safty and if you are once seen not using/handling one in the proper manner your gun toteing privilages are revoked, never to be reinstated within our house.

I'm glad I don't live in the US, you are all so in love with your guns.

I guess it is just two completely different cultures.

I was hoping that, considering how passionate some here were about the gun issue, they could give us a substantiated argument. I thought some good points were made in this thread and I was hoping to see them addressed.
