There are no MAGA judges, just federal judges. It says Obama tried to do the same thing and was ruled against by a federal judge. Change the laws if you want this to change.

The only one of those I know about is my SO who (now retired) was an RN. She worked defined shifts and was not expected to put in extra hours for no pay.
Nurses...Pandemic..I don't care what a healthcare worker makes. Pay-backs are in order.

My wife's knows several nurses that went travel nursing during the pandemic.
One said she made over $135k in 3.5 months working six days per week, 12 hours per day. Being paid around $150 per hour.
I assume you will agree most healthcare workers did not do as well....

True but quite a few in health care went traveling and did very well. RN's, RT's, even CNA's.

The employers don't have to pay overtime if their salary is more than $35,568 per year. (This was set by the Trump administration in 2019.) The new rule that the judge blocked would raise that threshold to $43,888 a year and to $58,656 next year. With the Federal judge blocking the rule, the threshold will remain at $35,568 per year.MAGA judge?

No, the judge did not side with the employees. The judge sided with the employers.
The judge turned down the overtime. That favored the employers. The judge blocked raising the threshold. According to your post a higher threshold favors the employer.
