Make It Compulsory to teach Gen 9:1 to 9:19 In All Abrahamic, Schools, Mosques Synagogues & Church

I did a petition to the UK Govt and it is live at the mo (In my personal name funfortunately The petition is to...

Make it law that Gen 9 -19 is taught/ read in schools and Abrahamic places of worship .

The text in question is is Genesis 9:1-9-19 inclusive ie God's first Blessing and Covenant to all humankind as represented by the sons of It is the first and only universal Blessing and Promise in the Bible This is what children should learn as it is acceptable to Jews, Christians & Muslims

This is about the teaching of a socially cohesive biblical text in schools and places of worship Muslims do believe that Allah wrote the Bible too and this is the text that makes it clear, we are all blessed by God, that we are all responsible for ourselves and each other in this world These chapters contain Gods first blessing to all peoples so important for what it did NOT say as for what it did say "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth .

if you want to know how i arrived at this logic its a long road but I must make it clear that i am nowadays close to secular humanism. All the logic I have employed can be found here. its my attempt at fighting extremism. its childish and silly but if you follow the theological arguments you might just get to see where i'm coming from

Emerging bloody and attacked from other forum eg amazon religion i have to say I'm now ready for a proper debate and i defy any religious leader to give me any reason why they would refuse to do this given the current state of the World.
After all If a Muslim is taught to believe that Allah gave the Torah to the jews and the Gospel to the Christians why would they not accept the original promises and blessings of Allah in gen 9 ...After all

Sura 2 - Al-Baqara (MADINA):Verse 4 : Eng-Dr. Mohsin
And who believe in (the Qurân and the Sunnah)[] which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in that which we sent down before [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise

Sura 3 - Al-E-Imran (MADINA) : Verse 55 Translation : Eng-Dr. Mohsin
And (remember) when Allâh said: "O 'Īsā(Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Īsā(Jesus) is Allâh's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allâh) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allâh, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, 'Īsā(Jesus), Mûsâ (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurât (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur'ân] till the Day of Resurrection[]. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute."

Not in publicly funded schools though, right? Secular schools? I certainly don't think that would be reasonable.

I think all schools. I don't think it makes a difference what type of school, nor indeed what type of abrahamic place of worship either.
There is only one thread that pulls all the three religions togerther and it is written In Genesis 9:1-9:17

God speaks to the world through the sons of Noah is the allegory. Its written c1500BC and its an echo of something much older ehoed around other ancient cultures Its a fragment an essence
Thisis before religion and yet written in the very book that the Koran makes it so very clear was given to the Jews by Allah,
The point is that there can be no religious argument against the inclusion of this socially cohesive text iat the end of RE lessons and in religious services/sermons around the Globe. Any religious leader arguing against this better have the greatest reason in the world for refusing this move because people are being brainwashed to fight for a twisted verison of a beuatiful world religion, Islam.

What do you think?

So you think teaching religious scripture in publicly funded schools is wise. Then how about teaching them:

“Blessed are the destroyers of false hope, for they are the true Messiahs - Cursed are the god-adorers, for they shall be shorn sheep!”

“There is nothing inherently sacred about moral codes. Like the wooden idols of long ago, they are the work of human hands, and what man has made, man can destroy!”

“Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years!”

“Why should I not hate mine enemies―if I "love" them does that not place me at their mercy?”

All taken from the Satanic Bible.

Here in the States we have this thing called "separation of church & state", so no, Genesis 9 should not be taught here in a public-funded setting that even goes beyond public schools.

I'd have just quoted
And you, be fruitful and multiply, abound on the earth and multiply in it."

So who would object, not a Christian surely, not a Jew, not a Muslim, not a Secular Humanist, so whom?

I think it's wrong to teach kids genesis outside of a literary history context as being true. And, further, more and more kids are growing up secular, so it doesn't seem appropriate to teach religious beliefs.

I would certainly object, and I am a Christian. And, I would be very surprised if most secular humanists would find this appalling. Where did you get the idea that a secular humanist wouldn't object, btw? Seems counter-intuitive.

Well I note that only British subjects can sign that petition and frankly I'm not all that familiar with the situation in Britain.. I somehow doubt Winston Churchill would sign it.

It would probably be best to offer a free class though to anyone who wants to study the various Covenants in Religion...start with the earliest and work through the later ones.

Just link them to www.religiousforums.com . Cheaper and quicker.
On a serious note, though, I don't understand why this needs to be related to the education system. Church attendance is free. People can enroll their kids in Sunday school. Go nuts. Put them in religious schools. No problem.

There is simply no need to bring religion into schools, particularly since it would need to be done in a cherry-picking type of way (even with the best of intentions) due to the skills needed to teach it properly, and the crowded curriculum.

What is your objection specifically? I was an orthoidox Jew btw

you do realize that the section was read in all synagogues that read the torah portion of the week on Saturday, Oct. 17. What more did you want?

Of course I know I was an Orthodox Jew Sure Jews wouldnt object, perhaps they can add it at the very end of the service particularly Gen 9:7 and given that Christianity prides itself on keeping as close to jewish orthodoxy as possi9ble they won't object either and given that all Muslims believe Allah gave the Old testament to The Jews they won't object either and as God demands nothing of us in (gen 9 mand for it too So who disagrees
I'll tell you who. All those people that do not believe in [9:7] And you, be fruitful and multiply, abound on the earth and multiply in it."
ie all those people that refuse to accept that in the eyes of God we are all equal
