In the Book of Genesis is God male "and" female, or male "or" female?

Gender does not have to mean sex.
The male aspect is generative and the female aspect is reflective.
If seen from this perspective we can see that God can be both.
There is no separation of the two with God.

No, a deformity is not changing something as basic as sex. If you remove a growth on your arm, you have not changed anything because it was not supposed to be there. If you remove a growth between your legs and say you are not a male, you are trying to change something that was supposed to be there. It would be better to change your mind and accept what God gave you then to try to change your body.

The truth is that we each have both male and female aspects but as most can see one is usually more dominate than the other.
Can you list some examples of what you think are "male aspects" and "female aspects"?

Cultural bias?
Really?
Really. Or at least anthropomorphism. Or maybe it's your own unique form of prejudice. I was being as generous as I could be when I suggested cultural bias.

I find them to be self evident and since I am currently using my phone, more details will not be posted tonight.

I wait with baited breath for aspects of "male" and "female" that are universally true.

...not only across human cultures, but also across species.

... because you're talking about universal truths and not just a deification of stereotypes from a limited number of human cultures, right?

Since dysphoria isn't a matter of changing ones mind, and it would be about as productive to tell someone to not have depression, changing ones body to resolve the body/brain conflict is much simpler. Besides, for all you know, God wants the person to change as much as it wants a bone deformity fixed. I imagine God, if it exists at all, is not so petty that it would rather people needlessly suffer with body-brain conflict than undergo sex reassignment. Just like I'm pretty sure it wouldn't care that I had a breast reduction surgery because they were too heavy to let me play sports or sleep comfortably.

How presumptuous of you to assume that you know the mind of God.

How did God tell you that he disagrees with gender reassignment surgery? What other opinions did he share in this conversation?
