Not only would it appear that God doesn't want to be found by scientific methods, if he exists he has gone through an IMMENSE amount of trouble to make sure he can't be found at all! So we have to ask then, is it more likely that God went to the trouble of creating a vast self sustaining, self evolving universe and then hid every trace of himself from it and allowed people to create countless religions with different ideas of him all the while refusing to involve himself in anything we do... Or that he just doesn't exist at all. Even if he did, seems to me he doesn't want anyone to know about him, much less commit heinous crimes in his name.
