I don't understand the question you're asking, but just for info, it's usually either AUM or OM. OHM is some electrical unit.
And when you hear that deep rolling thunderous sound welling up out of the silence... it certainly gets your attention. Just sayin' :run:From my reading it seems that AUM is mostly emphasised in certain Upanishads. It is referred to as God, as the first Sound and the origin of all things.

In another thread it was mentioned that one should not say they have heard the sound of Om... I am wondering why that is? Frankly, it is the most amazing sound one is likely to ever hear. I'd go so far as to say that if more people were able to hear it, the world would be a much, much better place. Perhaps you could enlighten me on this matter. :flirt:AUM,
The primal sound. God. Everything.
When you hear it it´s called Nadam.

For the record, I've heard it on two occasions...

As far as I know, AUM and OM are the same. However we have the two as a result of high brahmins (not sure of the exact cast), telling other castes that OM was reserved for them, whereas AUM was for the lowly and normal people.
Either way, they both express the infinite beyond conception. God
Since this just seems to be evolving

A : Gross Body => Pratyaksha => What can be perceived through the senses
U : Subtle Body => Pratyaya => What can be conceived by the mind
M : Causal Body => Prakasha => What can be known through meditation or intuition.

AUM embodies the divine threes. Sattva, Rajas, Tamas; the threes are everywhere, there is nowhere they are not. They are the beginning, the middle and the end.

Aim : Beginning
Hrim : Present
