Men and women. Friends or foes?

I thought you were aiming for freedom. :p
I am kidding...by the way.
Once I wrote a note to a university colleague of mine...
There was written I love you.
He read it...but before making the first move, he made me wait so long...lol

But I felt better after giving that note to him.

"Enamored of", not "enamored with".
There's always some ignant buffoon who'll diss
something great. Some critics just feel the need
to criticize.
It wouldn't continually rank in the top 10 movies
if it aged poorly. And Nino Rota's score endures.
@Estro Felino should be proud of this Italian.
Btw...I feel so like Meg Ryan when she says "what is it with men and The Godfather?" LOL ;)

Ladies don't chase men. It's not dignifying.
It can be very annoying sometimes. I was literally stalked when in my early 20's by a woman my age who just was unwilling to accept the fact that I was not into her. One might think it's a compliment, but I certainly didn't see it that way as I really didn't want to offend her and felt it would be best for her to just move on.

Another time I was literally seduced by a woman even though I made it clear that I had no interest in having sex with her, but she ended up winning that battle, which I'm not at all proud of. I won't get into the details of how she succeeded, btw.

I would never do such a thing.
It's not feminine.
My femininity is something I care about a lot.

Italian women are very feminine, on average. ;)

May I ask you a question?
As an American citizen, would you feel bothered if an influential politician made this comment?

Do you think it's disrespectful towards women?
I think its rude and unprofessional.

But, like @Revoltingest just pointed out, the genders of said sex workers weren't announced, so I don't really find it disrespectful towards women. Just crass and uncalled for.

He did mean female prostitutes.
He always makes these jokes because he is depicted as manwhore by the mainstream narrative.

In our country...males pretend they are manwhores, because that's what makes them popular. There's the myth of the heterosexual male, as real male.
Homosexuality is not something that makes you popular.
You can't even imagine how many gay men pretend they're straight, claiming they slept with tens with women.

I feel I can't judge the situation properly, because I don't have a good grasp on Italian culture. I can't hold someone up to the standards of another culture if it isn't something they're immersed in, or have a reason to uphold. That wouldn't be fair.
