Is it true that if the African countries could form one team rather than being divided by all the different countries they would kick everyone's a$$? That's what I hear once and wondered if it's true.

How come you think that?

I'm asking if it's true. It's what I heard before and because I know nothing about soccer I was seeking confirmation.

but, for the record, if the RF had a team we would rock the world and win the cup!

Some Kind of Strange
Probably Brazil. They're just the best. There's no denying it. Although, is it true that Ronaldo is playing for a European country this year?

He would of have to become a citizen of the country and play for them from now on. He's been playing in Europe for a while already. I doubt he's goint to stop playing for Brazil.

Quite possibly. Africa does have some great players playing in foreign leagues. An all-Africa team would be nothing to sneeze at. I'd love to see it!

No, a player can't play for a different country once they have already made a senior level appearance for a country. England are going to win this year! :D

If Africa joined and made a team it would be very gooood indeed! Got some hella good players like Sissoko, Yakubu, Lua Lua, Traore, Essien and Kanoute.

I think that the Cowboys will meet the Broncos this year, and the Broncos will pull it out.

Everybody is going for brazil, but the truth is, though they have probably the bestforward lineup the world has ever seen, their defense is older, slower and not what they need to win. I think that they will definitely go to the finals, but will be beaten there. I for one am hoping for a US victory. we're ranked forth right now. never been better!

Not a chance on England. With Rooney out, they've lost what little chance they've had.

I like your avatar. Go Liverpool!

What's sports this? Synchronised ballet dancing? I like those helmet costumes they use.

Mexico knows what is most important! :D

Article

MEXICO CITY - World Cup 1, Politics 0. The world's top soccer tournament begins June 9 in Germany, and that means Mexico's presidential race — just like almost everything else in the country — will grind to a virtual halt for as long as the national team keeps winning.

"Soccer is first. The craziness surrounding soccer is second. Then there is the rest of the world," said writer and social critic Carlos Monsevias.

Restoration of everything
Well, I was really disappointed in the way US played today. Slow on every aspect of the game. They really need to beat Italy now. Any thoughts?
