If she was apostate who lives her life without bothering muslims? Why should such apostate be killed by the state when Quran says there is no compulsion in religion?
It's weird. It almost seems like their definition of "bothering Muslims" is seen as simply upsetting God or other Muslims. It just seems so strange that Muslims are often "bothered" as a united group so often when you don't really see it with other religions as much.Do you consider allegedly burning a Qu'ran to be "bothering Muslims"?

If she is sane apostate and she burns the qur'an, she deserves execution by the State(not individuals). Anyways, i read the story. This woman was not apostate! She was actually defender of Pure Monotheism, warning the mourners at the graves not to commit sins by doing things that goes against islamic teachings. Unfortunately the people misinterpret that wrongly.
But, when people like this get so fired up about the suposed burning of a book that they fail to give the woman a chance to defend herself, doesn't it make you think that there is something flawed in the rule they were trying to enforce? I mean, once a book is burned, it's hard to say what book it actually was, and, in this instance, we saw people without even caring about getting accurate information. It seems like too risky an attitude to have.If she is sane apostate and she burns the qur'an, she deserves execution by the State(not individuals). Anyways, i read the story. I absolutely agree.Agreed. It is extremely disturbing when even members of this site say things like, "couldn't she have burned another book?" This shouldn't even be a passing thought when an innocent woman is tortured and burned to death. Something isn't right when all anger/disgust/ridicule is not placed directly on those that perpetrated real harm and murder.
This is a disgusting statement. If she is sane apostate and she burns the qur'an, she deserves execution by the State(not individuals).

To be honest, I think it's less to do with being passive-aggressive towards Islam, and more to do with the observation that a very significant number of Muslims globally have a major problem "tolerating" criticism of their religion.
Who gives you such a right to execute people ?
Brother the apostasy is in different levels.
Do u think apostate that does that should be supported and even applauded?
If u become soft, they gain upperhand and corruption will spread. Execution is one of the options, others include exile.
Anyways the woman who was killed and burned was actually muslimah , she fought against innovations/bidah in islam.
LoL who is you ? Who gives you such an authority ? In a Muslim country, everyone is free to behave as they wish as long as they wont harm social order. They can become Muslim and then non-Muslim how many times they want, maybe 1 million times. This is between them and Allah, none of your business. If someones (does not matter who they are) starts to harm social order or tries to corrupt peace, then they treated accordingly, still you cant execute anyone directly.
Have you ever read Quran ? and think about it as Allah wants you to do ?
Brother those who wish to cause corruption on earth their reward is only execution or exile. So dont be apologist for the kuffar. Can they be your helper or protecter on judgement day while u disbelieve in one of the rulings mentioned by Allah and his messenger pbuh?
Their reward(execution or exile) is mentioned in quran and hadiths. It is about vile apostates, not apostates that mind their own business.
If i was in position of power i would implement that rule weither the kuffar likes it or not.
I understand how you feel guys, but why would even "very significant number" be a justification to be passive aggressive against Islam and Muslims? I'm Muslim and I can't understand why I deserve this. It's not about me really, it is about those Muslims minding their own business around the world in general.
But I guess I'm being sensitive here. I guess I can't blame you too due to what's being show vs what's not.

If the Islamic Hierarchy can't present a sufficient counter-argument to an "apostate's" claims, it is a reflection on them, and it might mean that the "apostate" has a valid point. If you can't keep up with arguments against Islam, then do some studying, practice your debate skills, and come back and try again. Punishing those that disagree with Islam and express that disagreement is the same as accepting defeat.Brother the apostasy is in different levels.
