the bible is based in fact in the same way any fiction is. we found troy thanks to greek texts, does that mean the trojan horse was immediately true?

the bible is not a historical document, it is a story told around fires to entertain the family and then written down.

right so a smart commander who knows how to use his enviroment is divine? the story would be a huge legend to the israelites and would have been added to the bible as a sign of god loving them, just a story.

in the 6 day war the commanders read the story but will also have looked at terain maps and decided that was the best place for an assault. not divine biblical teaching, good human thinking

So if there is no proof for the conquest of Canaan or the move from Egypt to Canaan, then isn't that a proof that the Bible can't and shouldn't be used as a historical text, but be used as a Spiritual book.

I don't think it proves the Abrahamic God, but oh boy are those things good. How many foods actually exist that taste sooo perfect and then, when you think it can't get any better, you dip them in butter and they just get unbelievably good! No wonder the Abrahamic God told His people not to eat them. It is too good for most people! If anything I think this very delicious item proves that my Gods and Goddesses exist. Lobster, shrimp, mussels, clams, and pork are other bits of proof as well. I think that's something we can all say, "Amen," to! :yes: :D

Atheist, yet another proof of God. In Atheist, we have an historic oppurtunity to see deception in the human mind, incorperated by God himself. There is no real oppisition to God, so he had to fabricate it. Thats what Atheist are , a fabrication of God. A unique creation of God, charged to the negative. A human influenced by God to not believe.

And I want to go into why.

No, there is too much proof already confirmed, as I have already listed and will continue to list.

God has shown me one thing for sure; every now and then, he will cause the earth to spit up proof of the bible.

And Atheist are pre-primed by him to never see it. Your mind is not designed to accept God, thats how your supposed to think.

Ragordon ~ As an Archaeologist I have to tell you that you are wrong. "Most" of the bible is a historical document of what the Jews think God has done for them and to them as a nation from about the time they were in what we call Israel today. Any stories before that time , 1200BC, are not true and do not follow real earth history. I have been in Israel and I have worked on digs and it is not right to tell a lie about most of the stories in the bible.:no:

But if the event I described didn't exist, then every proof afterwards become nul and void. It only proves that Jews came from the Canaanites, and that guys like Isaac, Abraham and Moses didn't really exist,the way the bible says. thus the fundamentals of the bible is broken, and can't be used as an historical book.
