You conveniently forget that in American history the "Southern Democrats" gradually left the party in the 1960's-70's to become today's Republicans, and LBJ correctly predicted that this would happen when the Civil Rights Acts were passed in the mid 60's and became law.

If you are not willing to believe me, at least look it up.

Trump is letting this happen because it is backfiring on the Democrat leadership, by making Trump look like a victim. Victimization plays a central role in Liberal catechism. This constant assault, now behind closed doors, is creating empathy for Trump, since victims can sense other victims. This will lead to a Trump landslide.

In some respects, this gaming is starting to feel choreographed, similar to a professional wrestling match. In professional wrestling, the villain is playing dirty, breaking the rules, out of sight of the referee. The hero is half knocked out, taking abuse, but he still standing. Near the end, the hero gets a second wind and quickly turns the tide, leading to victory. What we are seeing may be a planned show; reality TV. It is designed to help the media industries and to engage audiences. Trump may be the Producer. He is the one who got the Ukraine episode going.

As far as Ukraine, and the latest witness for the Democrats, that witness was part of a think tank, that is funded by the same energy firm, who was paying Hunter Biden. This is this week's soap opera, with the villain still playing dirty.

Republicans were included in the meetings. There are Republicans on those committees. Even some of those morons who were part of that mob could have just freely walked in. But they had throw a tantrum instead.

There is an old legal maxim.

When the facts are on your side argue the facts. When the law is on your side argue the law. When neither is on your side argue the process.

They have no power as there was no formal vote starting the inquiry which would have granted them many rights. The sole power is in the hands of the Chair which is a Dem.

There is an old legal maxim.

And you know who set this standard? Does Benghazi ring any bells?

At any rate this is an investigation and not a trial. Witnesses for the defense are usually not heard from then. For example during a grand jury the defense may be present but they do not get to even interrogate witnesses, much less put up a defense of their own. The job of the House is the same as that of a Grand Jury. It is proceeding properly:

One thing though that's obvious, is that our government has become factioned and basically dysfunctional.

I'm starting to think that maybe we are headed toward a second civil war if things like this continue unabated.

We always put it as.....When the facts are on your side, pound the facts. When the law is on your side, pound the law. When neither is on your side, pound the table.

And pounding the table is exactly what the Repubs did yesterday.
