Just like an egg is a "major gateway" to an omelet, and an omelet is the "higher end" of an egg.Not according to real communists. Socialism is definitely a major gateway.
The Relationship Between Socialism & Communism
Communism is essentially the "higher end" of socialism according to Marx.
They tried to burn down a courthouse, Repeatedly, and injured and killed hundreds of people. Not really. One question, did the leftist mobs invade Congress and try to overturn an election?
Did the leftist mobs invade any state capitols?
If not you can see why there actions were not on of insurrection.
Citation needed, false equivalency regardlessThey tried to burn down a courthouse, Repeatedly, and injured and killed hundreds of people.
Neither of them were insurrections.
Did you sleep through 2020? The Portland courthouse was under attack for weeks.Citation needed, false equivalency regardless
I remember this, too:They tried to burn down a courthouse, Repeatedly, and injured and killed hundreds of people.
Neither of them were insurrections.
"Comprised of" should be "composed of".
Or you could say...
"...essentially comprise closet fascists"
You guys keep triggering me!
Also, those in glass houses shouldn't throw brickbats.
Liberals have their fascist elements too, eg, AOC's
opposition to capitalism, Biden's support for civil
forfeiture abuse.
And before anyone screams "False equivalency!",
consider: Believing that the other side is worse,
doesn't mean yours is without sin. It's still bad.
Okay, so not even close to what occurred in the Capitol. They may have injured more people, but there were many protests. But none of them were even close to being an attempted insurrection. They tried to burn down a courthouse, Repeatedly, and injured and killed hundreds of people.
Neither of them were insurrections.
Is a courthouse the seat of the US government? Is a courthouse the seat of even State government? I openly criticized the BLM protesters when they went too far. And there were too many cases where they did. But the claim was that what what violent BLM protesters did was worse than what happened on January 6 and that does not appear to be the case.Citation needed..... Oh wait
Okay, so not even close to what occurred in the Capitol. They may have injured more people, but there were many protests. But none of them were even close to being an attempted insurrection.
Meanwhile some of the raiders of the Capitol were just idiots. Like Richard Barnett. He fought his case and even worse testified on his onw behalf. He did have the right to do that, but one should have a solid game plan before making such testimony. The prosecutor had no trouble poling all sorts of holes into his testimony and according to news reports that visible angered Barnett. It took the jury all of two hours they came back with a guilty decision on all eight charges he faced. And to prove that he was an idiot instead of showing remorse he still said that he did not think that he was guilty. At least wait until after sentencing to show that you have no remorse for your actions if you want a light sentence: He faces up to 20 years in prison and has not given the judge any reason to give him a break.
Jan. 6 intruder who sat at Pelosi office desk convicted on all charges
Meanwhile some of the "brains" behind this action were convicted of the crime of seditious conspiracy which means that even if you do not like it, it was an attempted coup. A laughably failed one, but still an attempted coup:
Four Oath Keepers guilty of seditious conspiracy in U.S. Capitol attack
Covered ad nauseum.Define fascism please.
No. It is not. An insurrection is an attempt to replace a government. Those protesters were violent. They were breaking the law. They need to be punished. But they were not attempting to replace the government. An insurrection is an even higher crime than what those people were committing."But none of them were even close to being an attempted insurrection"
So you don't think attacking a courthouse and police precinct and trying to burn them down with people/officers inside is an " insurrection"
insurrection; a violent uprising against an authority or government.

And you appear to be going at this from an overly literal perspective again.Do you know what civil authority is?
insurrection; an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government
