As far as I'm aware, bestiality doesn't involve consent - homosexuality does. Bestiality doesn't involve an equality of emotions and desires. Homosexuality does.

i had a dog that became emotionally atached to a calph. and are you telling me that a female dog thats ready for mating will give a rats as to who she does it with?

so by what you are saying regarding that consent thing, a person who is slightly mentally ill should never have sex because he is unable to give consent although he might want to have sex.

The flu has killed more people and is much more contagious than AIDS.
Relax, gay people only want others that want them. Homophobia lurks in people who really have no idea how nice gay people are. In many cases, people like you have friends who are homosexual and you absolutely have no idea that they are. Happens all the time.

Actually, AFAIK, bestiality has never been legally prohibited in some US states. I believe it's still legal in Florida... maybe others.

Frankly, I think there is something wrong with you - with your position, anyhow. You're arguing for your personal views of right and wrong to be imposed on everyone.

You should count yourself lucky that people haven't done the same to the things hold dear. In fact, I think that if you did a survey of the US, you'd find that tolerance for Islam and tolerance for homosexuality go hand-in-hand. The opposition to same-sex marriage and gay rights comes mainly from fundamentalist Christians who are definitely not fans of Muhammad, either. Do you really want them to be able to dictate what people can and can't do?

The mindset that allows for acceptance of homosexuality is the same mindset that allows for acceptance of Islam.

I don't think love is silly, and I don't think people are like animals. What is silly is people who are so insecure they are threatened by same-sex love. It's usually the fault of their religious upbringing.

I 100% agree that there should be legal unity between homosexual couples, but do not understand why there can not be a differential. Marriage is defined as the unity of a man and a woman. What would be wrong with a slightly different name such as unified marriage? Maybe this would keep both sides happy?
