LOL that's truePretty neutral overall. It's kind of sad and/or scary that we have to die, but on the other hand, the alternative would be even worse.
When faced with death, considering the circumstances I was OK with it. I felt remorse about certain things I might have done differently, things I have not experienced in general life, loving more women. but these are things I'm sure any healthy man would feel if he was in my place. which is actually encouraging considering I survived to experience some of these things and to make amends. How do you feel about your mortality?
I was inside in the hospital today waiting for an ultrasound and a man came in and sat down beside me, we got talking and I found out he'd liver and pancreatic cancer.I'm in no rush to experience it, but I'm not frightened of it as far as I can tell.
Do you think there's a difference between a healthy man facing death and a sick man facing death? I think I doWhen faced with death, considering the circumstances I was OK with it. I look forward to being in Heaven with Jesus. I will be glad to escape this body of sin and pain and death. I believe when Adam sinned, he brought death and while death is a curse it is a blessing because it means we will escape this body of sin and death. I always pray for all my family and friends and as many people as possible will be caught up in the Rapture if it is soon enough, but whether raptured or not I look forward to Heaven and all the things the Lord has in store for those who love him. In my belief, believers in Christ have already had their sins paid for by Christ but we attend the Judgment Seat of Christ for reward, not condemnation, as opposed to those who attend the Great White Throne Judgment. I have some apprehension about having not been as good and faithful a servant and using my talents and gifts the Lord gave me, that he may not be as pleased with me as I might like, but in the end he wipes all tears from our eyes, we have no more sorrow, pain or death. So, while I'm in no big hurry, as I'd like to grow and mature and do more for the Lord, and would really like to be raptured, I do look forward to being absent from the body and present with the Lord. There are days when I'm like, hurry up! Beam me up, Scotty!
Well, this is not my home, I'm just passing through. That is the most depressing thing I've read in a while.
